Think we're on different wavelengths here. Cards look great. Just curious how balanced out the cards from each property will be in individual boxes. Would kind of suck if you weren't a fan of say Star Wars and got 3 Star Wars cards or something.

Yes, I'm looking forward to some video also, but because I want to see if they look much better live. The characters images of the cards listed on eBay look very washed out. All from the same seller, so it could be them.

I will say the washed out visual looks way better on the Cinderella card than the other cards that are photos/rendered and will probably look decent on all the classic Disney art.

There's a Mickey /99 up now. Substantially better picture. Would like to see something besides /99.

Ripped 2 cases and got a 1/1 Goofy and some cool Shimmers! Beautiful set but has a lot of small nicks on surface and some OC to make it hard to gem

Got my 10 boxes in. Opened 4 and going to stop there. Cards are really extremely nice, but don't think I did well relative to box prices. Not sure whether to sell the other 6 or hold. I'll probably make everything available in the sales thread here shortly. Results below:

Regardless of the scalping problem or whether I think its worth the price for collecting, this product was priced completely wrong by Topps. It is $20 per slot for a numbered /99.

Look at release price of Disney Chrome Sapphire (or Marvel) where you get 4 such numbered slots guaranteed, for $350 (390 for marvel) ...Even if you value that slot at $25 you are essentially paying $250 for 28 base + lowly inserts with miniscule odds of auto. Lets not even forget the secondary market pump.....

Topps Now products for non sports you are essentially paying for a base with a chance of that 'slot' (see Brave new world) for $16. For bad characters Id guess print run in 1000-1500, good character probably 4K -20K. with around 265 numbered if you price the HIT at $20-$25, your expectancy out of the base is like $4 or less. so you are paying $12 for when you hit the base (or its variation)...Yikes
In the specific case of Cap Am (Brave New World) where PR is like 8039 (guessing because its first marvel Topps NOW).....If you value the slot at average, say $20-25, then your expectancy for the numbered slot is like $0.65-$0.82


I guess you could say the other products are priced wrong....but then there are people paying even more than multiples of the release prices....Personally I dont value it anywhere close to even 10%

They're a bit thicker than my 65 point ones.. So I had to use my 100 point but they have a bit of room. So somewhere in between

Thought about selling as prices seem to be keeping its high levels of around $500/box, but I couldn't resist the urge to open some.
Opened 1, then next, then next... and I'm up to opening 4 boxes now.

**I'm a big Star Wars guy, so getting Mandalorian/Grogu/Ahsoka was cool..I also wanted a Wolverine, so good there. Getting 2 gold of the same character (Mirabel) was interesting...overall happy with it, may send the Wall-E in for a replacement..I still have 3 sealed, I can't imagine the prices going up much further on boxes but who knows. -Matt

Idk that I can support it based on what I opened, but boxes are pretty quickly creeping off eBay. Floor up to $525.

I was hoping to open a couple of my boxes coming from Topps before deciding if I wanted to buy more but boxes have been flying off eBay today, so had to pull the trigger on some a few hours ago. Package from Topps just arrived. Opened a couple and I’m happy with my decision to buy more. A few parallels per box, low print run and the cards look really nice in person!

The one thing I can say for these going up is relative to other products the floor is crazy high. A bad box still probably returns ~$250. I’ve opened $500 mlb/nba/nfl and gotten $20 worth of cards.

I own some of this and I don't understand the prices. Nothing too special about these, IMO.
