Wow, that means your order it was delivered to PSA and went past both "Arrived" and into "Research & ID" at PSA in less than 24hours. That definitely seems to be the exception to the rule based on everything else people have posted about PSA turnaround times now.

For my last few Value Bulk and PSA specials orders, took PSA between three weeks to a month to even enter the cards into the system from the time they were delivered.

I was looking at comps for sending cards in for the 70 special and had some 71 Seaver's in really nice shape. This is on eBay, how did SGC miss this coloring job?

My 6 card 70s/80s special order has been sitting in post-grading process since 2/28. How long does it usually take for the grades to pop?

My standard order has been in the same length of time. I imagine they don’t work Sat/Sun so while it’s 4 days for us, it’s just 2 to them. Imagine they’ll pop some time today or tomorrow.

For anyone tracking the order progress at SGC, my latest small order:

USPS Arrived at SGC: 2/26/25
Received (logged into their system): 03-04-25

So it looks like it's taking about 4-5 business days (6 calendar days) to enter orders into their system based on their current backlog/spike due to their special.

1st time grading with SGC so I kind of expected my cards to be through grading by now... so getting a little nervous that they were lost in transport but I'm probably just being anxious. Does anyone have experience with extended grading time when dropping off at a card show vs in the mail?

SGC needs to quickly stop advertising 5-10 day TOT for now until they get through this backlog of orders. I submitted with the expectation to get my cards back within a certain time frame. If I wanted a longer wait time, my options (for grading) would open up.

I’m submitting another PSA order this week with same tier. I’ll update TOT for that one also.

I think SGC has found out Specials are good but not if you run several at the same time that and increased traffic because of the PSA log jam.

Usually the Seller Ready images pop up on the day that the order ships, and they only do at the very end of the day.

I've received those SGC emails that the order has shipped, and then I refresh the seller ready images dropbox and it still shows "0 Files" until the evening. Just a heads up.

Please post some photos of the cards you got graded. I love seeing newly graded cards in the tux. Cheers.

I'm under the assumption, and I'm aware of the risks in assuming, that the specials were an easy hack to train new graders. They do the Topps stuff to get an onslaught of cards with nearly no deviation in artwork so the learning curve there is easy. Then you implement the random things like the basketball, football, or period specific stuff for the ones that stuck around from the Topps classes.

Soon they'll graduate to all collectibles and there'll be no more specials until they hire new trainees.

Just me throwing ideas at the wall.
