I'm over the short guy PG archetype

Until one of these smaller-than-curry dudes wins something I'll be sticking to it

You essentially make yourself play 4v5 on defense running these guys on the court

He owes Kawhi a lifetime of bouquets. Houston really bought in on that Toronto championship run magic which he didn't even spearhead.

I also think the front office didn't foresee Amen's quick ascent. He does everything outside of perimeter shooting (which FVV isn't even good at this year) just as good if not better. But they have to feel good about having that as a fallback plan in case they move Freddie to the bench where he belongs. I really like how Houston was doing pg by committee before he returned.

100%

Before Freddy came back Amen was getting a better handle on the ball, not turning it over as much, and his playmaking was improving a lot

Now that he's back if this last game was any indication on what they want him to do while FVV is on the court (basically shove him off to the corner or stand in the dunker spot), it's a total waste

Another Denver loss to a top East team.

With all due respect to what they've done, they're a tier below the top few teams in the NBA

That wasn't a very strong Boston team either.

Let’s be honest, nobody but Jokic truthers think Denver has any real chance

Oh for sure.

It’s almost like the pre Miami cleveland LeBron team. Not quite as awful in terms of roster but they can win games in the regular season on Jokic’ greatness alone.

Kind of like his MVP chances this year.

Respectfully.

Just lol@Silver and his supposed authoritarian rollout plan to penalize the gross misuse of load management. Jazz resting 4/5ths of their starters....when they're already a league punching bag. Allah Bless these season ticket holders and their pain tolerance thresholds.

I’ve got a 3.5:1 for MVP and a 2.5:1 for CPOY on Joker so I am feeling good either way

Seems a bit of a random burn to toss out there out of left field. Just makes it sound like copium after a meaningless game to me lol.
Oh that bit, eh just a remark on their first matchup of the season. Giannis looked good, and yeah, he's a tier below Joker, both those things can be, and are true.

Joker is playing hurt - looked only slightly off for a couple games but today it was noticeable.

Total kudos for him just playing through. An extremely limited amount of players play like that now. If a player isn't at 100%, they don't play. Joker is easily my favorite player in the league right now.

LA without Reeves and Rui, and Lebron with 6, yet LA still up double digits on a playoff team. They are really rolling right now.

Clippers fraudmaxxxing.

Powell's made of balsa.

They'll be lucky to make it out the first round.

Fakers keep trucking...another brutal stretch of games ahead.

Phoenix can't even be competitive even though they need every win they can get right now.

Dunn is done. What a bum, how can you be a perimeter player and miss 3 wide open 3s on crunch time. No defender will guard you anymore after that
