I think the majority of TAG PC collectors want the 1000 point scale, since it is their form of the PSA Registry. Without this collecting aspect, these slabs won't be as desirable from a collectors point of view. The CGC registry even brings some high prices. I have a lot of vintage top pops on CGC that have sold for really good money.

Hang out at the TAG discord and you see the pricing is in big part because of manipulation.

That aligns with the seemingly low volume/low demand/high prices you see. The issue will be when supply goes up, the pricing has to be sustained beyond a handful of sales, which is literally the “data points” that keep getting brought up.

The TAG scale in no way will replicate the registry. I’m sure there will be people who chase the highest grade, but in terms of personal and collecting goals, until they can actually catalogue more cards, it’s just a novelty.

I didn't sit through the 25-minute video, saw the first one cracked and skipped to the end. Missed the part where he cracked the ones straight from the wrapper.

It looks like something went wrong with the sealing in his order. This isn't something you can normally do with a TAG slab.

I hope he reaches out to TAG to have the slabs replaced.

I knew immediately he did not watch the video. His TAG bias was made very clear by his response before he actually watched the video. The guy was so excited about TAG until he put a little pressure on the slab.

NORMAL to be able to crack the slab with your fingers? Imagine having high dollar cards in those slabs! They are on SGC level then because those are easy to crack.

Normal for them, but not for PSA or CGC. I will stick with my big 3 for specific reasons, PSA/CGC/BGS.

If a bunch of people start making videos of this, then it is an issue. Until then it is an isolated incident. I have many TAG slabs and can't crack them with my fingers.

There is 300,000 plus TAG slabs graded. Somebody would have discovered this sooner if it was for every slab. Go grab a TAG slab and see yourself.

Looks like you believe in TAG being sturdy than the company. They are identical to CGC with one difference. He did not crack it with his hand. I will let you do that because I will not be doing it and that video will go viral in a negative way for TAG.

I know because I have TAG slabs and tried to break them. If you want to believe they easily break, so be it.

Where are the follow-up videos replicating this video? Surely others would have tried after seeing this video.

Wow! I don’t think he wanted fame! He was trying to support TAG. I WISH TAG and you well. It might not sink the company, but a lot of people who weee on the fence to grade with them will not. I know 3 people who were getting subs together say not a chance after see that video. Also theee will be much more content made on this one video. You are proving what many and your signature says. This video was posted several days ago, and nobody else has replicated what this guy did.

If you have no plans of ever using TAG, why are you so interested in trolling this thread?
