My pickups from the Shipshewana show. The Klu is a card I've wanted for a while, and is a super tough card in an 8. The Griffey is one where I may never find the pack pulled Larkin, and wouldn't want to foot the bill for a Griffey, so I'll settle for the Promo Griffey for a great price.

Just realized I posted my Charlotte card show pickups in the wrong month's thread. Here they are:

Just came in and I think just in time. I absolutely love the numbered retail parallels.

Here’s a cool one that’s new to me - 2001 Topps Series 2 insert with dual GU bats. Some websites have the insertion rate at 1:20k+

I'm tagging you since you're the only one who may appreciate my pickups.

Vallejo/Fairfield/Benicia. I played against/with/worked with these guys or their brothers.

That is absolutely awesome! Scott Abeyta is just a year older than me and a few of my friends know him. Damon Hollins when to high school with my older cousins. That is cool that you’ve had some type of connection to each of them. I love it!

I usually see a few big 90s cards, but finding Larkin is rare as hens teeth.

There was an Arod 96 Mirror Gold at this show. There was also a Larkin 96 Mirror Blue, but it was a PSA 8 for the price I paid for my 9.

Putting together a Goldy Rainbow. Need to make labels for my Topps Gold and Diamond Anniversary. All the raw cards were amazing. the Topps gold is basically perfect. Anything that looks like a defect is on my scanner.

I just get the best price I can, graded or raw. The Walmart Blue PSA 9 was $47 all in, couldn't get a raw card for that. Got all of the Goldy's for less than what people pay for a base PSA 10.

The last card is a T202 Frank Chance 1912 Hassan Triple Folder. If you are looking for a Ty Cobb, Cy Young, Mathewson, Walter Johnson, etc... the T202's are much more affordable than T205 and T206 cards. I needed to buy one raw so I could touch it!

Actually added this one from a trade on this forum. I already had the /50 version and completely forgot there was a /25 too.

Picked this one up on COMC raw a couple months ago and the slab came back this week. The orange really pops!

I buy almost nothing these days, so this rare purchase comes with a back story. About ten years ago I was working on the 2007 Ultimate Pastime Autograph set. I was down to one card to complete the set. Ernie Banks. I had a couple repairman come to the house to get my satellite internet fixed. These guys were from two different companies. The internet connection is in my office with my sports card collection. After they left, one stack of autographs was missing. McCovey and Thome as well as some common autographs were stolen. McCovey was on the top of the stack as that was one of the last auto's I needed to complete the set. I live in San Francisco Giants territory so no surprise that McCovey was on the stolen stack. I had them out for scanning and then they were to go into a binder. In total, I lost about a dozen autographs. To date, I have been able to replace every stolen autograph except Thome. He must have been a redemption and thus a short print? One finally popped up last week on eBay. I didn't care about the price. I just needed it to close the chapter on this frustrating event. Down to Ernie Banks now. Maybe someone here has a lead for me? Thanks for reading this far...

I was able to finally upgrade my old 1993 Tomy I.D Ichiro RC PSA 7.5 to a PSA 9. The total PSA pop for this card is 602.

1993 Tomy I.D. Ichiro Suzuki RC (PSA 9)
