Great tournament, and the fans appreciated it. I know there is concern about injuries, but it's worth it for the growth and popularity of the game. Hopefully they make it an every other year type thing and add Russia and Czechoslovakia.

That all depends on whether the IIHF is susceptible to political pressure. They're the source of the Russia ban.

Maybe the winner this year can choose a nation to substitute as it deems. Next time it can be Canada, Sweden, Finland and Czechia.
