Looks that way… COMC has had a lot of bulk auction listings and regularly listed Marvel items pop up recently that I think might be tied to some people leaving ePack and /or cleaning up accounts to coincide with UD losing the Marvel license.

Here’s a fun one… someone posted pretty much a whole subset of jockeys and horses from an old tobacco set. One stood out to me. Initially, I thought it was just an upside down COMC scan (it happens) but on further inspection it was a jockey falling off his horse. Any card that makes me laugh is an instabuy. Best 3 bucks I spent this week..,

An uncut sheet of the 1994 Fleer Amazing Spiderman 3D holograms. I thought the “approved” note on the back was a neat touch, probably this was a test sheet during production to be approved by Fleer…you better believe this thing would be approved due to sheer awesomeness! Probably the easiest production decision in the history of cards.
![]() ![]() ![]() There was a Reddit thread not long ago where someone’s dad was the person who sculpted the actual sculptures used for these 3D holograms…had a pic of it and all. Really remarkable. There is a summary of how they made these holograms in the comic book Marvel Age #114 (a very layman version, the actual production is highly technical and super complicated). I also got this one from 1990MU (as well as the Spidey vs Goblin, not shown). Someone beat me to the cooler ones like Spidey, Surfer, and Wolvie ![]() ![]()

Does a Milk Bone card of an athlete and his dog count as nonsports? At any rate, just discovered this set on the baseball forum and as an Orioles fan … and dog fan!.., I had to pick it up.

Haha that's pretty great. Gotta love the 90s...could find a trading card in almost anything. Cereals, food boxes, mags, pizza hut vending machines....dog biscuits...

EDIT: Actually, I would have paid double if the label listed Champagne and NOT Ripken. That would have been funny! |
