I opened a few more boxes...all cels, and 1 sketch. Again, another really nice one...with characters that match the card stock! I might be done with FAWS....unless it goes to 90%...

trading dupes for FAWS, WV, and WI?....cubsrgr8 on epack.

Darn Scrub. That's another heavy hitter. my 3 pack gamble resulted in a red-flasher- Smasher parallel. These past two days, it's just like the 80's Rod Stewart song, ""Some Guys Have All the Luck."

Yeah lol, it has felt like the packs i do earn are the ones that clear the way for the others to get sketches/auto lol.

But good job to the guy who got the sketch.

Speaking of sketches, I’ve bought a couple lately and have hit some from epack, but got offered this for a pretty valuable card. Is there any way to determine value on these? I haven’t been able to find any guides or directories on who the “best” sketch artists are (I assume characters follow the same tiers as regular cards). Artist is Alex Mines, who apparently had a thread here a few years back

You're killing it, Scrub!

And your era of .04 posts/day has to be one of the lowest in the league

No, but I'd say at least 300 if not 300 more or more

What's the other card, or the other card's online value?

Flair Twilight /5, last sale was $360 back in July. Prices may have come down since the sales have bumped supply of everything across the board, but I assumed it would still be worth a couple hundred and have turned down some other offers for /33 autos and other junk.

I thought that being Venom it would be valuable too, but have seen some sell for $100 or less and some available for like $100 so thought it depends a lot on artist or quality of picture? I recently bought or lost on a few Spider-man / Deadpool / Wolverine sketches that were all like $60-120 range

That's the thing with most sketches... you can sell low and fast, or just wait for the right buyer.

Best part about it — it's your call.

And that really goes for the rest of recent marvel cards — with such a surplus of available hits right now (everywhere),

but when the smoke settles years down the road and a few here and there really start to focus on collections that they like instead of what's new, things could change.

Yeah it makes sense how the values of these marvel cards fall down every time theres a deep epack sale. Like for example, the 75 percent sales, etc. When the marvel cards sell out, and you get less of a deluge on epack etc, prices might go back up.

Also both shang chi and falcon are over 100 cases still tonight.

thanks for talking me through it, I did pull the trigger and accept. it was my gut feeling when I first got the offer, and looking up values was the only thing holding me back. when it really comes down to it though, I think if I had to sell either card, I would probably be able to get somewhere in the $150-250 range, but like you said it's all about finding the right buyer.

I'm fortunately not in a huge rush to sell off stuff yet, and the Venom just looks so cool I'm sure I will enjoy it more in my collection

WandaVision 75% off
Eternals 75% off
Flair 50% off
Fleer throwbacks 50% off

All products have 99+ cases remaining.

Yawn…

Interesting they worded this as 'entertainment sale is live' and not marvel sale. I checked and none of the 'entertainment' products are on sale. I do wonder if this will move the needle on Wanda or Eternals at all.

Big yawn from me wish those throwbacks were 75% off. I’d go a little nuts. Hope the mcu stuff sells out, maybe the non mcu will then go to 75% off.

I don’t think anyone is excited about Eternals. Wanda retail price is double what it should have been, so it feels like a 50% off sale.

I think the remaining MCU stuff will need to hit 90%, unless there are some great achievements left (I didn’t check)…

We are approaching the end of February. If Marvel sets still sit on ePack in March, I would think we could get a blowout sale at the end of March. You’d have to think the Marvel stuff can’t stay on ePack too much longer and they will want to move it to clear the way for DC sets to not have to compete with Marvel sales. These extended sales of Marvel products might have conditioned some ePack buyers to be wary of paying full price when DC starts rolling out. It’s still up in the air how popular DC might end up being. I think UD is going to have an uphill battle.

Yeah I think the closer we get to the DC sets they might want to drain the marvel stuff. I did buy a box of the DC annual set just to see how it is, but yeah it will be interesting to see how people respond.

Did a 3 packer of Eternals and Wanda Vision with todays sale. Half way through Eternals I realized that I had never opened a single pack of this product. And now I know why, it was awful. Luckily Wanda saved me and in the 2nd pack pulled a Paul Bettany 1960s Auto! Looked up the odds, 1:1990. So that made me feel better about the Eternals packs lol

character has a lot to do with it. art is always subjective. i really with they was a character tier list as a guideline. i just when through this had a dr strange ash gonzales sketch and was offered an antman melike acar sketch i was on the fence thought it was a very fair offer but posted it in sketch fb group and the general concensice is dr strange was a higher tier than antman

i know spiderman is the top tier wolverine and vemon close behind

previous sold item and some listed prices for artist give you a rough idea but it is tough if there are not a lot sold item
