I'll be there Friday or Saturday. Drop off a batch of cards to COMC and see if there is anything 90's or early 2000s, which I won't hold my breathe for.

For every shows until this Ontario show, there has been daily IG postings of shows, attendances, dealers in the Burbank sportscard IG account. This time there's none. Not sure whether they are too busy or nothing to film.

I'm going to see if I could make it out there on Sunday. Would be good to get today's report on the show.

Not talking about their store related videos. For each of card shows, Card Father has personally went around the show floors video taping most of the days. This time I see more videos for WCCS merchandise.

Tons of people with lines out the door throughout the day. Unfortunately I didn't find anything I was looking forin the grades/condition I wanted, but the place was hopping and lots of great stuff in both vintage, modern, and non-sport.

Can't say it's really any different from all of the other burbank shows. Picked up 3 cards total: Timeless Treasures Sandy Koufax Patch, Immortal Inscriptions Tony Gwynn auto, and a Jimmie Foxx glove card.

This is waaay late, but went on Thursday to this, which was normally a VIP night, this year they had it as just a preview night for 30 bucks entry. It was raining pretty hard down here and I know that kept some of the people away, but there was a very solid presence there and sellers were open to buying, smart sellers were actually asking people who walked up to their tables if buyers had anything to sell and then asked to look at them. Silly sad sellers barely looked up at you when you came to their tables and if asked for a price on their stuff that had no prices, looked up comps. So in other words, status quo for Card Shows, HA! Went looking for some specific Bowman Autos and didn't find any I was looking for. Did end up getting some decent finds in people's raw boxes that I was looking to potentially grade only to get home and after second looks might question that idea. One thing I find was prevalent at this show, as it is with others, is that most sellers have their sticker prices priced above comps, (as they should) and then would agree to come down to comp price when negotiated. So idea obviously is to get your cards at or around comps and let the buyer potentially feel like they got a deal. One thing I will say I noticed was that there were some Bowman 1st slabbed autos of guys who were hyped and dropping off the map, going for close to the price of grading the card. Especially a lot of 2023 Bowman Chrome guys. Overall Fun show and run very smoothly.

I'll be there Friday, possibly Saturday as well.

Looking forward to seeing what big cards show up and hoping dealers are negotiable with prices and not some super ridiculous prices like last year.

I know everything is going up but $50 before you walk in seems hideous, even for SoCal.

I've spent something similar for a significantly inferior (half of which was TCG), and strictly local, NorCal show ($20 ticket, $15 parking, $7-8 toll fee, $10-15 gas).

Contemplated flying down and making it a multi-purpose trip (show + in-laws/friends) but ultimately decided against it.

If only I still lived in SoCal!

Hopefully it keeps out some of the riff-raff IG folks with 26 followers.

Small price to pay if it has internet and AC.

220,000 sq ft, & 1150 dealer tables...

I've never been to the National, but how many tables roughly set up at the National this year?

Plan to be there all day Friday.

Admission prices for the shows are really getting escalated at the shows lately... Not a good trend we're seeing.
