I pulled this out of a blaster box, back in June or July. #'ed 25/25 . With respect to Amen, I couldn't (for lack of a better term)..."give it away", w/ a BIN of $74.99 or B/O, back then. Glad to see the talented young man, finally getting a real opportunity to round-into-form @ the NBA level!

His handle is going to have to improve A LOT. He did hit that game winner but 2 other games recently they went to him in the clutch and he had 2 bad turnovers

Love his game and mindset, and I've picked up a couple cards recently, but he has a lot of work to do.

Agreed.

And while I hate to sound so cliché, truly; one must "crawl"...before he can "walk"...before he can "run". Over the course of the past two seasons (and much more so,...the new CALENDAR year, in fact!) Udoka & Co. have shown a lot of trust & faith in Amen and his development, and have sorta' (cliché, again)...taken off his training wheels!

Like virtually everyone posting in this thread, I expect a bright & prosperous future for the kid!

That's true, I think even before the shooting (which he has been improving), the handle should come first

As well as he played last night, he did lose that last possession which sealed the game for us

a month ago in Omaha card show someone had a rookie Kaboom for $450 which was extremely fairly priced and honestly right at comps compared to ebay when typically at cardshows cards like these are above comps

anyway i just couldnt justify fitting the price into the budget and i passed. I looked up recent sales a week ago and saw them now selling for $750 bet its even more today

Yea I don't blame you. Sweet looking card. Print run on those has to be around 10. I should've grabbed a cherry blossom last year when the product dropped. I was so close to pulling the trigger but couldn't justify the price at the time.

My stash of low ends that I've accumulated. I need to stop being lazy and send them off to PSA for grading. The total cost to grade will be more expensive than what I paid for the cards.

That's a great stack, I started accumulating some silvers (I have like nine or so) but waited too long while acquiring some of my other stuff and now they're honestly kind of expensive (like 50 each)

I feel that about the grading though, I've just been building up and kind of putting it off but I'll have to bite the bullet eventually

Since I got the level 4, decided to get 1-3 to complete the set



Mosaic peacock nba debut, got it because these are honestly pretty tough to come by from what I've seen and I love the peacock parallel design. Ideally it would be a base and not an nba debut but decided I wanted it anyway.



My biggest purchase to date, NT true rpa /49

Went with the /49 because, despite the /99 being more desired, decided to not go for one due to two reasons:

A. They're way more expensive and also don't come around that often (only one recent sale on ebay and it went for more than double what I paid for this one)

B. They honestly look kind of boring, the bronze and red looks a lot better to me than the sort of dull gray/silver

Yea I noticed his prices really started to rise ever since the Celtics game winner game. Super exciting player to watch and it appears more people are starting to notice his potential.

Congrats on the NT RPA pick up! Huge card! I agree it makes no sense the /99 sells for so much more. Such a weird hobby sometimes lol.

I'm going to post my entire stash soon. Still waiting on a few recent pick ups. It takes so long to receive the cards with the whole authentication process.

It’s alluding to the fact that I have a skewed perspective compared to the majority in regard to a players performance and how I perceive that performance and skillset to the value increasing. Where in fact, the value was increasing and I was correct in terms of that and the basketball community acknowledging amens performance and skillset….so far.
