No need to grade 1/1's.

Grading is used to show your card is at a condition more premium than its counterparts.

1/1's have no counterparts, therefore grading is irrelevant.

I do agree, an auction house may have gotten a bit more.

The 1/1's are indeed one of a kind, so condition is less an issue, but truth be told, if you eyeball it and it looks Gem Mint, where it could get a PSA 10 or a BGS 9.5 or BGS 10, it's worth submitting for resale because it not only grades it, it authenticates it, protects it from restoration issues, and when you sell cards, most auction houses only want graded cards and if you sell on eBay there is less risk of buyer knit-picky complaints if you sell a card graded versus raw.

Then, if it's a high grade 1/1, it could theoretically command a higher rate than if it were raw.

On the other hand, if the card looks like a 9 or lower grade with an obvious flaw like a dinged corner, surface abrasions or off centering that would garner huge demerits, keep it raw to sell, so the damages aren't highlighted by a low grade.

Why? Just buy one of his other branded scams. I hear cryptocoins are the new hot grift.

Oh, well if “historic” is what he’s after, I have a great idea for a photo variation involving Musk.

Don't worry.
There's a chase set featuring that in the new Topps 2025 WWE Chrome set.
