That's exactly what I wanted, but I thought the price would be $250 or $300 at most. I was taken aback a bit by $500. I've only commissioned three artists to do AP's for me in my life (they charged $60, $100, and $100), so I admit I'm not very experienced with the pricing. And I know the Glebes are popular and this is really how they get paid. But $500 was too steep for me. Still makes me a bit sad though.

I have never reached out to an artist for an AP, so I do not know going rates.
Does seem to be a good thing that Crypto does sticker them to differentiate. You could be right, if they only get five for APs or very few, then that could be why they charge higher as well and knowing they hold their value. |

I would like to ask a question to the representative from Cryptozoic, if they're still creeping around this thread
, are all four inscriptions for each signer, the reds and blues for both cards, different? As in 4 different inscriptions? or are there repeats? I would think the elves and Black Bart might struggle to find 4 meaningful inscriptions, unless they just wrote their character name or "Christmas Story".

I have a single scan of each card type and card color, but not a comprehensive scan of all the different inscriptions. It's quite possible that actors like Peter Billingsley or Scott Schwartz were able to do multiple different inscriptions on the same version of a blue autograph (due to them having more lines in the movie), but much less likely that an elf could do that. |

Now I'm going to be a real pain, but is there any chance you can post images like above for the 10 signers, whenever you get a chance? I (and many other collectors no doubt) would love to see what's out there as far as inscriptions go. Thank you again for the info. Much appreciated.

Random thought to Cryptozoic - I feel the packs/boxes should be orientated laying flat in the factory case for future releases. It’ll save the condition of the corners especially since the card stock is so thin. The 1/1s are getting beat up out of the packs let alone the base/inserts.

yeah i know, it was just the irony was so overwhelming that it led to hyperbole… there’s wrong, and then there’s “the proof i’m wrong is sitting right on my shelf” wrong and accusing a poster of being an industry plant bc they didn’t immediately agree with your incorrect theory. it was funny, my bad. like it’d be one thing if someone came to the thread and posted a blue auto from case #88 or whatever, it was another that one was sitting in a case you already owned! |

So I ripped my case on release(case #189, Flick/Schwarz dual, Scut/Grover dual, Billingsley PB1, lowest auto # was /199.)
I've got 3 loose boxes from a distributer that I held back. Getting more enticing to rip as some of these larger autos and inscriptions are still out there. |

I assumed things slowed down due to it being February. Plus $190-200 is quite a bit for a box at the moment. I’m sure we’re all anticipating things ramping back up right after Halloween.

Another blue auto popped up on ebay this morning, the Male Elf with a nice inscription.

Just finished my sixth and seventh cases. These just keep getting more and more confusing.
My sixth case had zero duals but 3….yes 3 SP autos. Billingsley /85 plus a Billingsley /299, Schwartz /85 and /299, Grover /89 and /299. My seventh case had not one Billingsley auto at all, no /299, /85 or dual. It did have a brilliance 1/1 and my first blue ink auto of Black Bart. It also has 3 Head Elf autos one of them /199 and two /499. All the rest were just the standard /499 or /299. I know I got the blue ink /5 but if I paid $1500 or whatever prices these are going for now on an entire case and got zero Peter Billingsley autos, I’d be pretty upset. |

Hard to say how cases go anymore it seems, some seem to be loaded, others get the one SP, and now I guess some don’t have any SPs.

Yeah I used to think there was some sort of a pattern with each case - one SP, one Billingsley (single, SP, or dual), one or two duals, and one of each signer. For the most part that was the way it went early on. But all that is out the window now. The cases being opened now are all wacky with not much distinguishable pattern. Which is good I suppose unless you get skunked.

I just pulled I believe my 5th brilliance 1/1 and it has significant corner damage. As well as every other one I’ve pulled or seen. It only seems to be the brilliance cards though which is odd. No other cards in the pack or the entire box are ever damaged other than the 1/1 and it seems to be the same bottom right corner every single time. Weird.
