I think the most surprising one has to be HHH at almost 2K without any chase or group bundling to lower the cost.

I am surprised Punk isn't higher in comparison to the Rhea and Roman cards. If I had guessed I would have had him at 2nd or 3rd highest PR.

No autograph chance, but the Giulia NXT title win card had a PR of 2909.

Not factoring in anything else, at $11.99 the Roman card would of produced $202,367.22. While I don't see another Roman/Rock dual like PR between Charlotte's return possibly at Rumble and getting a card, the Rumble Cena Topps Now, etc they could be at half a mill to a mill in revenue within a month or so of having the license. That's not even adding in Topps Chrome sales. Making chases in Topps Now was one of the most genius moves they've made.

Since Fanatics changed the Topps Now formula to raise the price and add a chase hit, its definitely an extremely profitable part of their business. Basically selling valueless base cards for $8 to $12 each while paying a wrestler a few hundred bucks to sign a couple to randomly insert. As a collector, I hate it, but I understand why they do it since people go bananas for it.

Not trying to start an argument but was there an Ohtani before the Olympic dual auto of Durant/Curry/Lebron? That's when I remember Topps Now hype going crazy, I know 50/50 was after but just asking not tryna do a gotcha or anything lol

Topps Now format is much better than Panini Instant though. Not only does it feel more like "pack pulled" to most as you have to open to know if you received an auto/parallel compared to Instant jus selling the parallels for more ie/ /25 /99 /1. It also makes sense financially and leans into the aspect of breaks which have obv taken over cards. Instant they'd charge some insane price for an auto or 1/1 then one whale would buy it and 99% of people would pass on the base card. Topps Now is probably making WAY more by selling the base with a chase for a base price and then making parallels/autos random. You have ten times more people willing to pay a lower price for a chance at a big hit like breaks then someone willing to buy the box themselves which was basically Panini's method.

Actually come to think of it, you're right. I don't collect basketball but that did indeed come first and people went bananas and then Shohei furthered that bananas and now Topps sees money signs anything notable happens for Now products

I bought each one, only received my Roman so far and no movement other than “processing” for the rest, but the Roman is still listed with the rest of them. Anyone else have the same issue?

Bought 1 of each at the same time. Received hhh(base) only, all others I have tracking and no movement
