Anime is super tough. I've pulled a few autos, but I've yet to pull a sketch or anything of note really. The cards are kind of neat though.

Yeah I think I've pulled a few autos...Anime is a tricky set. the very first one I ever pulled was an auto and then since then I've got 3 autos total from there. I am thinking of giving up on it at least for now.

man. epack trading is rough. I am spending way too much time trying to send offers to people with things they might need and not only getting rejected but hitting my ratings, with no explanation. feedback system on non-completed deals is weird / lame

I agree. I got decked when I sent a couple of trades in the beginning thinking that they would counter with more cards from my end. Instead they dinged me and rejected. The most effective way that I've traded is through the FB groups. Post there and your trading has a chance of actually happening.

Flair has been pretty rough for me. Not much out of Flair for most of the sales period so far. I do like the set but it does get very expensive for 4 cards in each pack.

Beginning started good for 1st 5 packs (comic clipping) and 2nd 5 packs ( artist auto) but now it's cold.

All mixed martial arts products on e-Pack are 75% off. Dare we hope to see some Marvel products at 75% off soon?

Trading is frustrating on e-Pack. It always has been, at least in my opinion. The vast majority of people don't seem interested in trading and even many people with large wish lists don't seem interested in actually trading those cards. I just took a look at the chat and trade forums and see many of the same names from years ago. It's a very small pool of active traders.

It's too bad because a big part of the appeal of e-Pack is trading so when trading is hard or impossible, it makes e-Pack less fun. After hundreds of unsuccessful trades, I've given up. I spent far too much time carefully going through someone's wish list, finding something they want and something I want, comparing values on COMC, only to have the trade ignored. And I'm sure we've all received bizarre trades asking for big cards and offering a handful of digital base. That's not the start of a negotiation, it's an insult and not worth my time.

"All" is pretty meaningless when it's only 2 complete set products. Nothing to see on that sale.

As to trading on ePack, I get a lot of unbalanced trade offers. If cards on my want list are selling for 2 cents on COMC and the card you want from me is $5.00, don't expect to trade 10 of yours for the one you want just because they're still on ePack. I'm rarely trying to complete a lot of achievements, so trading me more valuable redeemed cards for the unredeemed you want usually works on me. It's just that you've got to feel everyone out individually and take notes. But if you send me an awful value trade to start a conversation, I may decide you're not worth trading with at all, and block you. That first offer to any person needs to be a win for them; if you don't want to get negged for your offer, try using the chat box to see what they're interested in from your ePack; but then also don't be one that hides every useful card they have in their collection.

I find a lot of value when trying to trade by using the chat forum on ePack and try trading "dupes for dupes" or "same insert for same insert set".

Trading since the new year has gotten infinitely hard (in my opinion) and there definitely seems to be a shrinking pool of people to work with. Prior to that, I didn't have too many issues with trading. It's like anywhere - some people are mental, jerks, etc. and some people are great to deal with. Just depends.

I bought 2 PFL. Didn’t realize it was similar to Cyber with the complete base in each box. Did hit a blue parallel (ties to plate achievement) that I paired with a Dino sketch to get what I think was a nicer sketch. So that’s a win. Got a green in the other box that only one person WL so basically paid $13 to upgrade a sketch. Nice to do a quick trade as ePack has been pretty horrible during the Marvel post mortem.

For general trading, base & inserts, I mostly send those offers to those on my friend list; and let the rest come to me.

But, yes, it sux when someone sends you a blank and then you actually take the time to figure things out and click just for that dumbo to decline and lv a neg.

That sheet is ridiculous.

I'll add on to say don't be one of those who insists on everything being even in the trade down to the nickel. Digital base is digital base regardless of whether it's Venom or Aunt May.

I was not an epack person until Masterpieces 2020, and I went big on Platinum by buying lots on a FB group. I'd guesstimate as was said above, the large majority of accounts on epack are pretty dormant and do not pay attention to trading until they need something.

Agree that best bet for successful trading is setting it up in a forum/group first, or overpaying for what you're seeking. I've also found keeping my wishlist updated attracts a modest amount of attention. Some accounts have nothing on their wishlist, so what is the use of proposing a trade?

p.s. I will reiterate that digital base needs to be combined! As the 'katamari damacy' account of epack, I'm open to trading any digital base to make real cards!

I agree with that to an extent. But you'll go mad if you run that to the logical conclusion of taking, say, 100 digital cards for a Black or Blue combined version. In that regard, those Black or Blue Venoms are worth more than the Aunt Mays.

But yeah, working backwards and saying "I'll trade you 5 Venoms for 15 Aunt Mays" is only going to cause headaches.

I wouldn't quite compare it to Cyber. These "boxes" can have an auto as well. 1:12.

I know nothing of the sport or its popularity. But im ad addict and thought I'd chase an auto. Took 8 boxes, so i technically beat the odds.

Is he any good? I have no idea. no completes sales on ebay (i checked terapeak) and it is on comc for $35.

Great fighter but just lost his last fight. Probably not worth a ton but a cool card nonetheless

Yeah, PFL has a few names at this point.. Mainly Francis Ngannou as most of the other fighters have left for other promotions or are wanting to be released.

This was the best advice so far. I got following from Beginning for approx 2 boxes in packs:
1. Comic Clipping - Hawkeye/Mockingbird #1 /65
2. Creator Gallery Signature - Colossus - Andy Kubert
3. Comic Clipping: Avenger #11 /50
4. Wolverine Flipped FX Red /41

In Flair packs, I finally pulled sketch & Twilight /5 after many packs...

I've never been good at navigating other peoples collections on e-pack and trying to figure out trades. I only did a handful with wandavision when I wanted Randall Park's auto ...I have a hard time looking up comps, but like I've gotten stuff where I had 10 base cards offered for a sketch card, so that's a turn off

I decline almost twice as many as I accept when it's a sought after card. People will low ball like crazy.
