Second... This is the second straight year that the Lions melted down when the lights got bright. They spend all year selling woof tickets about being the toughest team in the league, but then when it matter the most, they're prove to be mentally week and give it all away.
Goff should throw the ball 20-25 times a game. The more he throws the more bad things happen

Lions can get qb. I'm sure teams are lining up to trade for MVP candidate Jared Goof this offseason

Detroit isn't trading Goff. There would be no shortage of teams willing to trade for him. Too bad he showed up as the Rams version of Jared Goof tonight.

Ben Johnson called the worst game of his career. A million head scratchers. I won't miss him

What team would want Goff now? He's glorified kirk cousins

Agreed, well said. I actually think the lions outperformed given their shredded defense. They did a great job of covering that up until this game. Even then, it could’ve been close without the offensive turnovers. Good season Detroit. Heal up and come back next year hungry!

Lol. Ok.

I'm sure teams like the Raiders, Browns etc feel so much better about their QB. Half the teams would inquire if Detroit wanted to move him.

Eh. Too soon for me to writeoff the Lions as contenders in the NFC. They had the most injury riddled defense in the league, and nobody in the conference strikes me as some indestructible perennial threat right now. They'll be back in the thick of things next year, but this certainly doesn't bode well for Goff's confidence. That was a Matt Ryan type performance.

Pretty strong words from the Texan's Ryans and Anderson. They pretty much said everything we all know.

And lots of complaints online from former players, current players and fans.

You dont have to like the Eagles, but can we agree that it shouldn't matter what the NFL wants, all that should matter is what team plays better??

It should matter what team plays better but it's naive to think that's the case anymore. We're witnessing a league influence the outcomes of games to fit their narrative and business agendas.

Goff is solid QB, but he isn't a talent multiplier type. I am interested to see this offense without Johnson. They still have a top offensive line, so that means the floor is high. Defense and especially Hutchinson will be healthy next year. Hindsight, us Lions fans should have an inkling this would happen. RBs got cute nicknames, WRs doing the stupid smelly hand waving. This team got where they were at by just head down playing hard.

I asked if we could agree it SHOULDN'T.

Not that it DOESN'T.

But now with legalized sports betting, if it's ever found out the NFL is "suggesting" to refs who should win / get calls, there should be a good number of people brought up on Federal charges. From people in Goodell's office to the refs throwing the flags.
