The shipping credit was stupid because you had to take shipment between Nov. 25 and Dec. 2. You had to go to the blog to see this, though.

The $5 per $100 credit will post by Jan. 31st.

Thanks to you both. I didnt try very hard to see if it had been talked about already (I hadn't looked at all). Just figured it's way past when they normally rebate.

So I just put in my first shipment home this morning for 2025 in Advanced Reseller Mode, and I have questions....

I SWEAR handling costs have always been a quarter for Economy shipping and 50c for Rushed. Rushed looks like it has now bumped up to 75c per card. I was surprised when I saw the total for 15 cards is now more than $1 a card to get shipped home.

I get it, they announced the increase in the shipping cost going up a buck. Am I wrong that the handling costs changed without notice? I don't feel like I ever paid more than a buck a card. I usually do 1-2 shipments a month with at least 15-20 cards and this is the highest total I've ever seen.

Near as I can tell, you still pay the handling fee (usually 25 cents on Standard items, $1 on Elite), plus you pay a rushed handling fee of 50 cents per item.

At one time, I believe the rushed handling fee was 25 cents, but it's been 50 cents for a while, at least a year or so. I was paying this rate for rushed shipments about a year ago.

This rushed handling fee might date back to the time when they changed all the fees (adding the 5% transaction cost and such), or it might be something they added in during COVID on an "emergency" basis and never thought to remove.

However, I don't think it's brand new.

I am on business day 4 of waiting on a cash out. What are the chances they meet the deadline?

Question for the experts - any way to filter your inventory manager to view only your graded cards?

A couple of my cards came in weeks early from grading (jumping some others). Pretty happy across the board aside from a PSA 4 on one haha. Good luck all.

You can always go to "my port" under the seller menu from your dashboard then go to the graded cards from there.

A new one for me...

Won a comc ebay auction -two days ago- but the item has not (yet?) shown up under my "auctions won" tab. Anyone ever had that happen?
If so, how was it resolved? I messaged them obviously but I know it might take longer than the time to pay, to get a reply, so I´m a little anxious.

I won several auctions from them previously and they always showed up a couple mintues after auction closing at worst, usually instantly though.

Yep, that was my fault. Oops. The one graded card I have in my inventory was from this set:

2001 UD Graded - Game Jerseys #RM - Randy Moss [SGC 9 MINT]

This shows graded “for sale”, is there any way to see graded not for sale inventory?

Moot point in some ways for me, I gave up and just manually went through the inventory last night.

Could this just be because the value of the cards? COMC upcharges shipping when it’s pricier cards right? Or am I imagining this.

I just shipped 2 cards home in a shipment, economy rushed. One card was $875 the other $10. I’m not in advanced reseller mode. The cost of those 2 cards to go economy rushed was $10.99.

Had a few hundred 1999 Fleer Millenium Edition drop at the same time. About 30% of them are incorrectly identified as base. Further evidence it's not humans doing the IDing.

I buy/sell in 97 Finest and they are often getting it wrong, embossed vs not etc. If it actually is a human doing it, they don’t understand the set apparently.

Even correction requests don’t always work. Just recently saw a marvel masterpieces insert card listed as /25 (it’s not even a numbered card). Sent a correction…they changed it…now it says it’s /99. (It’s not numbered!).

Thank you for posting this. I purchased a lot of items from Charity over the weekend. Many of the items were still overpriced even at 85% off.

Right after you made this post, I checked the number of items for sale in the Charity account, and it was around 377,000. This morning, it is down to around 350,000, so it looks like Charity had a good weekend.

In reality, many of the cards in this account are trashed, torn, or just vastly overproduced cards. It they want to get serious about reducing the # of charity items, they need to lower tens of thousands of these cards to 10 cents.

Yeah, they usually have a good black Friday sale, but they didn't this year. So I was surprised to see an big sale in mid January. Was hoping they would just keep going down from 85% but it looks like they bumped the wrong way to 75% maybe they sold too much too fast lol?!

Six Types of Ports :

1. Sucker Port - Everything is priced 10x the value and seller is asking for 25% of port value

2. 12 Good Items Port - the first page of 12 items are tempting, then you click and see the rest is all ePack garbage worth a penny a piece

3. I won't budge Port - Port that almost seems worth it, but no offers are accepted on the high asking price

4. It's already for sale Port - Port is priced too high, then has a 75% off sale going on the individual items while simultaneously asking for 50% of the original price of the port.

5. Oddball Port - Port has a bunch of weird stuff that no one really wants or knows what the value may be, but pretty sure it's mostly junk and hopes someone bites.

6. Museum Port - a bunch of expensive stuff priced to the moon and willing to take 10% off.

I have historically avoided that seller since I never seemed to get mint cards when I took delivery. I won't rule out bad luck. I did grab a couple cards from that seller for the first time in a while and will see how they look. I buy a lot of cheaper cards on the site for slabbing purposes since the scans are so good. A good shipment might yield 40-50% potential gems. A bad one might yield around 20%.

Looks like my most recent shipping request estimate is about right.
Date Requested: 12/29/2024
Estimated Ship Date: 2/4/2025
Items Ahead of My Order: 196,906

I have about 800 in the submission pipeline to pay for over the next couple months otherwise I'd be aggressively cleaning out my watch list.

COMC is all over the place right now.

Sent in cards and a decent amount had to be corrected.

Requested a shipment and it was sent out 2 days later.

Submitted some cards for reprocessing scans in late December and still waiting on those pictures and customer service has been zero help and barely responds. CS says they "have a backlog" and "they'll be returned shortly"/"in a few days" on the scans 2 weeks ago and 1 week ago. Had other cards reprocessed with those submissions just fine and have had other cards since.. I'm guessing it's because they lost the cards.

Yeah every time I look it all looks like crap or crazy mark up. Buying lots in the real world seems soo much easier. That and you forgot the handful of guys on COMC who've made a biz buying ports.

My port has grown too large for me to manage and I have often thought about posting a port sale,
but all of the discussion here leads me to believe port sales elicit low offers.

I've decided to go the other route often talked about and will be
running sales with a progressively higher % off until everything is gone.
