Just a reminder than Lamar’s 36td/6int season in 2019 was the 4th best QBR season of all time.

He’s obviously improved as a passer but it wasn’t as if he couldn’t pass from day 1

Definitely wasn't me. You can check the thread - I wanted a receiver, RB or defensive player last year. It would have been the perfect time for one of them to get it.

I think I remember the discussion last year. Many people thought Purdy and McCaffrey would hurt each other’s chances. They clearly did. Dak and Allen got absolutely no love from voters. Crazy to me that Lamar got such a landslide win. Yeah, I know. It was due to being the QB of the top seed. I’m not even really saying he did not deserve it. But 49 of 50 1st place votes?? I dont know….

It was a really strange year for MVP last year. Dak had good stats, but didn't much against quality teams and hit his biggest struggles at the end of the season. Allen with far too many INTs. Purdy probably wins if he has even an average game and doesn't throw 4 INTs against the Ravens in week 17.

That left Lamar and McCaffrey and as good as McCaffrey was, this has turned to a QB award.

So much fun to watch. The Titans always fed him well but to have a dangerous QB running the offense has helped him reach his final form.

The Bills beat the Ravens. But Lamar’s QBR was 114-4. Josh Allen’s QBR was 86.7.

Allen didn’t really do anything to win the game because he didn’t have to. The three turnovers were the difference. And two of those were Lamar’s.
