Youngest was inducted into the Tri-M honors music program My mom went with to watch and that was very special to me Oldest finished swimming in gym. He isn't a big fan of the water. Didn't miss any swim days. Proud of him for stepping outside his comfort zone Mr JD starts his new job at the end of the month My new plant is doing very well

2024 was a tough year for me.
2025 is starting great. My oldest daughter recently received (and accepted) a near full academic scholarship to attend ASU this fall. She has a 4.4 weighted GPA in high school and just this week started a new job teaching swimming for 5-12 year olds. Took 3rd in her debate competition today as well. My youngest daughter has a leading role in her middle school play that finishes production this weekend. She, without asking, completely cleaned the kitchen this morning while my wife was at a bridal shower for my cousin who is getting married this spring. I got up at 3:30am this morning to take my best friend and his wife to the airport for their first vacation without kids. Happy to see them off to get that time together. Also, I haven't had a sip of alcohol since New Years Eve. Things are looking up. |
