Hurts has 18 passing TDs this season on 361 attempts, Tanner has 4 on 45. It's double what Hurts has if you average it out. He's also completing passes at a 10% better rate.
I know Hurts can run around and Tanner can't and Hurts has the tush push going (I think Tanner with his sz can do it to) but there is no arguing that Tanner is the better passer

I'm sorry, this is already determined after 45 passes in the NFL, with 41 being against the Giants?

I think McKee has looked great SO FAR, but my god do you need to learn to pump the brakes sometimes.

I am saying that YES (based on the limited passes we have seen) that Tanner is the better passer. Math is Math- it's a fact. Would it hold up all season that way? I don't know. I know that McKee drove his team down for 1st qtr points something Hurts routinely can not do. I know that he spread the ball all over. I know that he just made guys you never heard of look like Brown and Smith catching passes

This is the McKee thread, this train has no brakes. Get off if you can't handle it

Right, so one game against the 3-14 Giants proves that he's already a better passer than a guy that would have won an MVP 2 years ago if he hadn't gotten hurt. Got it.

Interesting McKee nugget:

"McKee’s passer rating of 117.2 is the third-highest in the NFL this season among QBs with at least 45 attempts, behind just Malik Willis and Lamar Jackson"

Wasn't my point, the point was he was playing at an MVP level until he got hurt. You are a cartoon character.

It's not awkward.

I like Tanner McKee a lot, but small sample sizes only inform your buying habits.

NT /35 auto just went for $66 and a /19 auto for $79.

Maybe it’s just me but those feel like low prices.

Congrats to the buyers.

Seems strange his NTs are falling short compared to some others. I like his Contenders on card the most though.

I bought his NT to /35 on 12/12 for $15. Those are not too old prices but maybe a bit of a discount

I paid $30 for the Gold /10 so I'm happy with those increases

Ian Book waived, looks like Hurts will be coming back. Question is- where does Tanner go? to 2 or 3?

Honestly, I listed my duplicates and sticker autos for 7-10x what I bought them for and I sold about a dozen over the last few days.

Tough decision- sell now on the hype, or hold on for him to become a starter and pop off for the big day. I am gambling and holding off for the most part.
Mostly selling college and unlicensed cards now, and holding the top stuff and grading it all. I probably have 200 Prizms alone Silvers, Greens, Variations, base, #'d etc

SO far my ROI is as follows:

Contenders /99 sold for $40 bought for $15
Contenders Green sold for $50 bought for $22
Contenders /99 sold for $45 bought for $22
Immaculate college /25 sold for $30 bought for $15
Contenders Variation sold for $25 bought for $12
NT college /25 sold for $35 bought for $17
Flawless College /25 sold for $30 bought for $20
NT college /39 sold for $30 bought for $9
Flawless college /15 sold for $36 bought for $15

My best McKee Contenders auto buys:
/18 $75
/2 $128
/13 $96
/5 $150

The NT was a good deal /35 for $15

And the Certified I cleaned up with:
/15 $for $30
/5 for $30
/10 for $30
/10 for $30
/25 for $20

The NT being a sticker auto sucks. I still think it's an important card, I would just prefer Contenders as they are on-card and probably superior to NT since it's an NT Auto vs Contenders and not an NT RPA vs Contenders.

I agree, I’ll grab a couple contenders in the offseason when the hype does down again.

I’m too old school. It’s base/paralell contenders or NT for me. Those contenders optic ones are nice cards though.

I am a bit depressed raiding my McKee collection that I have been loading up on for so long trying to figure out what stays, what goes, what to turn for a profit quickly and what to hold long term, and what to put into my PC. I am gonna have to flip a big one or two to pay for all the grading I still have left to do. I am going to miss sneaking cards into my McKee box, I am going to have to re-direct that energy back to Stroud and Trask.
