Burrowsborough could be a nice ally.

Any chance of a Morris Clyde Lewis IV being drafted by the Giants?

I believe that's called "foreign interference."

He's a carpetbagger. Drew Brees thread hasn't been bumped in years.

The Eagles have a problem on their hands- who do they put in, hot handed fan favorite McKee or banged up cast off Pickett? If they put Pickett in and lose, fans will go nuts.

Eagles also have a problem because McKee is the best passing QB on this team PERIOD. Everyone is going to realize that soon and it will cause issues. I predict someone calls to trade for McKee and the Eagles take them up on it. You can't have the best passing QB 3rd on depth chart

All one batch?

If you're sending all 40-50 in one big lot, it seems like could be a feast or famine situation - get a grader who gives you the benefit of the doubt and gives 10s that another would give a 9, or a grump that should give a card an easy 10 but insists on 9 being the average grade for an order.

Would be heartbreaking to get back 25% 10s, 50% 9s, and 25% 8s, but would be great to get 75% 10s, 20% 9s, and 5% 8s!

Good luck whichever way you choose!

The Eagles aren't stupid, they realize what that have in McKee now and how important it is to have a competent #2 QB. They've been to four Super Bowls and won one - with their backup QB.

From the Philly media coverage story today:

In all, McKee has completed 66.7% of his passes with 4 touchdowns, 0 interceptions and a 117.2 passer rating.

Pickett, by comparison, has played a similar amount as McKee. Pickett is 25-for-42 (59.5%) for 291 yards with 2 TDs, 1 INT and a passer rating of 86.5.

"I'll be ready whether I'm the one, the two, the three, the six, whatever it is," McKee said. "It's just doing my own thing."

Sure, it's a small sample size, but McKee has certainly made an impression on Sirianni and his teammates.

"You see Tanner McKee just throwing dimes all over the field?" said Eagles center Cam Jurgens, who was among several starters to sit out Sunday. "It’s fun to watch. We get to see him dice up our scout team. It’s just fun watching him go out there and make plays."

Added Sirianni: "Every time he gets an opportunity in practice, he does a really good job. We're excited about Tanner and the player he is."

Pickett will enter the final season of his rookie contract next season, while McKee is signed through 2026. If the Eagles believe McKee has progressed enough to be a backup, then he'll be cheaper on the salary cap and under team control for longer.

How is McKee signed thru 2026? I thought as a 6 rounder he got a 3 yr contract? 23,24,25

Eagles will have a big choice if Hurts can not play OR even if he does, who to make #2 and who to make emergency QB
I'd ride the hot hand and go with McKee. Some people are saying "but Pickett has more experience" Pickett has played in ZERO playoffs same as Tanner.

If he chooses Pickett, and Pickett plays poorly, Eagles will revolt because they overwhelmingly want Tanner

Here we go, an article hyping Tanner as trade bait, I am here for it

Browns, Raiders, Titans, Colts, Giants- teams that may miss out on Ward/Sanders, or may not covet them that much and rather take a shot on McKee -although can't see the Birds trading McKee to a division opponent

The fact that the Rams aren't on the list is disappointing. Getting a chance to compete after Stafford is done would be perfect. Plus it's basically his hometown team.

Small sample sizes are always the most fun things to extrapolate from.

(So disclaimer: I'm poking fun here.)

In only 1 game + 4 attempts, McKee managed to throw for nearly 25% of the touchdowns that Jalen Hurts did across 15 games.

If you want to get really nuts, Tanner threw 4 TDs in 45 attempts over the past two games. Insane efficiency. That's only one more attempt over a two game span to get 4 TDs than....checks notes......Jalen Hurts in weeks 8 & 9.

Yeah I wouldn't wish the Browns on anyone.
On the other hand, if he went there and was successful and won, he would be beloved by fans

Rams are a potential team. Maybe sit behind Stafford for a year?

Stafford has one TD pass in the past 3 games.
Tanner has 4 in his last 45 attempts.
Tanner starts.

Yeah, it's crazy when you look at it like that- but again if we are being honest, McKee (based on limited activity) is a better passing QB than Hurts. What an awkward situation that must make for in Philly- the fact the #3 is a better passer than the #1
