My Mom finally got her Christmas package yesterday in the mail that I mailed to them on December 14th.

It looks like it may have been held onto because there was no postage on it. My guess is it must have fallen off in transit as I saw the guy weigh it, print out the postage, and stick it on the package.

Smart. With the boys back to school tomorrow and finally a regular five day school/work week without holidays and parties looming, I’m also focusing on meal prep, laundry, and overall readiness to have a solid first week of 2025.

Got a few hundred low end eBay listings done the last 2 days. Already seeing some sales with offers on others. Selling cards under $20 is pretty good business these days.

Nice work! I’m hoping to get 20-30 things listed later this afternoon. I’ve been less active the last six months than I have been in years and that will need to improve starting now. Jan-Feb have become an extremely important selling period for baseball the last few years and this year looks no different.

Majority of what I listed today was baseball. I hope to be off Friday so I can go dig in the dollar boxes at the LCS to find some stuff. I also need to get my backstock inventory done. I know I have some Judge and Shohei stuff in some of these boxes.

Yeah, I wanted to go digging into bargain boxes at a show today but too much to do at home unfortunately. Plus the admission is like $15 so it puts a hole in the budget to start and it being the 2nd day of the show means less good deals to be found in those boxes probably.
Oh well, it’s been a productive and relaxing Sunday so far anyway with me getting through the laundry, some meal prep, some Xmas crap deconstruction/put away and transferring our entire fridge/freezer into the garage units while we await (yet another) kitchen fridge/freezer repair this week. The Samsung unit we have is an f-ing lemon

Also, I can’t remember a less compelling set of morning and afternoon football games. Hopefully the marquee matchup tonight lives up to its billing cause these early ones make me tempted to switch to the Matsuyama/Morikawa golf battle in Hawaii.
Currently enjoying a cocktail and about to start a dinner of lemon/garlic marinated chicken thighs, roasted potatoes and fresh green beans.
