That's crazy for a card numbered out of /205.

I mean, good for the set and property, and recognition for Cryptozoic. Bad for people like me wanting to reasonably put the set together!

I’m telling you guys, the autograph set will continue to climb due to true set collectors. This is a remarkable as set collectors have fallen off the radar in recent years. People usually buy the high valued cards only while dumping/driving other stuff down. Everything has an upwards trends for this release even the base sets. Also, making the base sets NOT one per box was VERY smart.

ID:	560207It sure is and a great way to remember Mom at Christmas. Maybe this is normal, but out of 2 boxes I had just enough to have all the sets complete with a few puzzle cards left. I may get the binder but I’m not sure yet. Here is my favorite sketch with the picture from the movie to match up with it.

Anyone know if the Ralphie bunny suit ornament plates and parallels that have sold on ebay were in the binder or did those come out of packs?

I believe they’re coming from packs.

Looks like the first ‘elusive’ Flick #/85 short print autograph just sold for $300. I have a funny feeling the SP kid autos are going to see a jump from this point forward. They’re actually pretty tough to pull and true set builders need them. I also like the photo selection for these cards besides Schwartz. Randy has an excellent photo for the #/85 version.

I agree. The SP kids are all going to end up being very tough to find. (They're already tough to find.) A Schwartz SP sold earlier today for $200 also.

As someone who has opened 5 cases, I agree. I did pull the bunny suit Ralphie from a case and one case of mine did not have one at all. I guess I’m a Scut magnet because my other 3 cases had him….so I’ve literally pulled three of the 85 Zack Ward SP autos.

These are VERY strong sales for the SP autos outside of Ralphie. I think everyone has underestimated the value of these cards. It puts to rest that their signatures aren’t worth that much. The licensing is the difference maker. I believe Randy has been selling for 300 as well. Love the meatloaf mashed potatoes pic.

Another Flick /85 just sold for $300, but yes they are drying up quickly.

My one case I bought I got Scut /85 as well.

I’d still like to know where the higher cases are? My guess is at least 500 cases made and no one has really seen anything above 250. My highest case was 234. I would venture to guess maybe a few hundred cases have been opened but I don’t believe people are holding back over 200 cases….so where are they? And where the heck are the blue ink autos /5? Are they all in the higher numbered cases I wonder….

I know it is very strange no blue ink /5 autos have surfaced after all this time.

And the highest case I have seen listed was 208 I believe.

Actually three I believe. Ralphie, Grover Dill and Miss Shields.

Yeah, it was the one where he started writing in blue and then looks like went over it with red ink. It was on eBay for a while but I’m not seeing it now.

It was on the Bay but unfortunately signed poorly. He started out with black ink then wrote over with the correct red ink. Very strange no blue inscriptions have surfaced at all.

That means there’s technically 100 cases that should have blue inscriptions. Wonder if this drives sealed cases up.

It very well could, and also could because there currently aren’t any cases listed.

There has to be a decent amount of sealed cases still out there I would think.

Exactly. There has to be at least 100 cases out there….somewhere. Is it possible that Cryptozoic held cases back and just didn’t release them all at once? Again, we’re not seeing any higher numbered cases anywhere. Odd.

Do you recall what the Miss Shields inscription was? Would be fantastic if it was “You’ll shoot your eye out”.

Plus another 17 cases with red inscriptions. Crazy potential here for sealed cases.

Just the single autos have 1 of 1 correct…the duals do not?

That was my sale. I was going to hold out for $500, but since I am going to triple my money on my 2 boxes & have a master set to keep, I let it go for this price.
Not only with this set being licensed, but the autos are on card & this will probably the one and only set for this movie. Not to mention there are not tons of parallels. Even if there is a red 1/1 & 4 plates, that means there are 210 total & no more ever. That is actually really limited for a classic that will be watched for decades to come.
