Are we talking about base autos or inserts/parallels?

Talking base autos only. I know it's a lesser quantity than most in the checklist, but are the key rookies in Topps Chrome short printed?

2018 is the only year I built the set, only because I'd already pulled most of the top names. The only two cards I needed were Ozzie Albies & Gleyber Torres, both of whom I had multiple #ed parallels of but no base, ebay searches were basically the same. It took me two years to complete the set and the base versions sold for just as much if not more than the refractors.

Mostly just set but interested in thoughts on recurring insets. Color should be known commodity within such set. But this is a good question. Would you take a gold pristine over a base heritage or a numbered tribute over heritage?

Does a gold Brooklyn auto equate to a chrome refractor auto?

As far as the Debut patch, there can only be one made the way they have it set up now. I really doubt players would want to A) wear too many excess patches, or B) have their debut jersey cut up.

Do you still have your debut jersey, Steve?
Unfortunately my final debut was on a high school field, but don’t tell that to the auction houses always offering me discounts in the hopes I consigned my “memorabilia” to them.

Oh, for some reason I thought you were the MLB player named Steve Finley.

No, just regular ole Steve Finley. It’s a running joke in my circle of friends though. I’ve had probably 10-15 auction houses reach out to me wanting to know if I want to consign my stuff to them because they think I’m the player. Probably twice that amount of eBay sellers have included a note asking for an autograph. Other eBay sellers add random Steve Finley cards. I flew into Dallas for a show one time and sent a text to my friend that I’d be there in an hour and a line started to form at his table because someone heard him say “Steve Finley’s on his way.” Retired baseball star does sound sexier than civil engineer so I roll with it occasionally.

That’s wild. Sounds like you’re enjoying the ride though!

I like that Logofractor autos are on card, just picked up my 1st Gunnar auto (green). I didn’t win recent Bowman Chrome auctions and couldn’t get myself to spring for the Orange BIN pricings.

So will pair the Logofractor auto with a Bowman Sapphire orange/75 image variation. Dunno if done on Gunnar or not but ability seems just as high as BWJ while being a year younger.

To the thread discussion, recent vids I’ve watched on Spit Ballin cards are pretty high on Heritage red ink.

Topps Chrome? Even though there are 499 of them compared to 50 the Topps Chrome is still probably worth more due to lineage and Brooklyn Collection kind of being a weird newer niche product.
