25) 2014-15 Panini Luxe Memorabilia Die Cut Blue 4/10 (jersey numbered)
Back in 2013 when I got back into card collecting, there was another collector who had been chasing Harper cards for a few years. From 2013-2015 we both were chasing a lot of the same cards. Eventually, the other collector (ScotCards) decided to start chasing some other players, and we came to a gentleman's agreement that in the future I would buy him out of a majority of his Harper collection. We made the first deal at the end of 2023, and completed several other deals through the first few months of 2024. I'll notate which cards came from that collection throughout this recap; over half my new additions on this Top 25 list come from his collection. Thanks again Phillipe!

I have been very lucky in my search for Harper Clipper jersey numbered cards. I now own 63% of those available. I already owned the 4/15 red version of this card. I still need the 1/1 black parallel (card #6 on my Harper Clippers wantlist). I am also looking for the 4/5 jersey numbered gold parallel (#9 on my Harper Clippers Jersey numbered wantlist).

24) 2021-22 Panini Select In Flight Signatures Tie-Dye 4/25 (jersey numbered)
Harper wasn’t in a Select set until 2020 and then was featured in the In Flight subset 2 consecutive years. He only has 2 Tie-Dye style cards, so even though this is kinda an old gimmick for most, I was happy to find a jersey numbered card of this classic Select staple! I have never seen any of the 4 Harper In Flight Black 1/1 parallels. Please reach out if you know where any of these are as they are #2, 3, 4, & 5 on my Top Cavs cards wantlist!

23) 2014-15 Panini Prizm Autographs Red Pulsar #60 4/149 (jersey numbered)
Part of ScotCards collection. This was my first jersey numbered Panini Prizm card. Despite the plethora of parallels with Prizm sets, Harper only has 10 jersey numbered panini prizm cards in existence, somehow. Still looking for the jersey numbered blue 4/249, purple 4/49, and gold 4/10 of this card. The 14-15 Panini Prizm Auto gold 4/10 is #5 on my Harper Cavs jersey numbered wantlist and #18 on my Harper Cavs wantlist.

22) 2012-13 Totally Certified Autographs Green 4/5 (jersey numbered)
Part of the ScotCards collection. This card brings me to 28% of the Harper Cavs jersey numbered cards, surpassing the 25% mark I had as a goal. I also own the 4/15 blue parallel of this card. Still looking for the black 1/1 from this year (#8 on my Harper Cavs wantlist). Also would be nice to find the base 4/34, red 4/25, and gold 4/10.

21) 2020-21 Panini Prizm Penmanship Prizms Green Ice 9/16 (jersey numbered)
This was my last pick up of 2024. Ron Harper has a total of 242 jersey numbered cards. I was able to pick up a total of 10 this year and now have over 30% of all Ron Harper jersey numbered cards. One of the biggest gaps in my PC in my opinion, is that I don’t have a jersey numbered card from when he played at Miami Ohio and wore #34. Only 2 of these cards exist, both from 2009-10 Upper Deck Greats of the Game base parallels. If anyone sees one of these, keep me in mind!!

20) 2011-12 Panini Past & Present Gamers Jerseys Prime #80 5/5 (duplicate)
Part of the ScotCards collection. I already owned a copy of this card, but had sent it to BGS to be graded. I wanted to have a raw copy as well. I like picking up large patch cards of Harper, and he does not have many Bulls jumbo patch cards to chase. I'm also weirdly obsessed with adding pics of cards to TCDB. I have Harper scans for over 90% of his cards on there now, but they don't let you upload scans of graded cards because of the glare from the case.

19) 2012-13 Panini Flawless Patches Autographs Gold #27 1/10 (duplicate)
Part of the ScotCards collection. I don’t hoard much Panini era stuff, but I do love this set. I had been trying to pick up duplicates of some nice patch cards, because I do feel like the different patches make them each unique. Now I own 70% of this print run, including the jersey numbered version which I grabbed back in 2019. I had a chance to get an 8th copy this year too, but was way over budget and had to let it go.

Part of the ScotCards collection. See above. I now own 80% of this print run, including the jersey numbered version I picked up in 2019. I also have all 4 plates. I'm looking for the jersey numbered base version 4/25 to complete the "jersey numbered rainbow with plates." The jersey numbered base is #14 on my Ron Harper Clippers wantlist and #2 on my Ron Harper Jersey Numbered Clippers wantlist.

17) 2020-21 Panini Illusions Trophy Collection Signatures Orange 9/10 (jersey numbered)
The orange parallels were retail only and pretty hard to track down. This was the first copy that I saw up for sale, and it just so happened to be his jersey number! Was able to land this one at auction at a very good price. Harper was in this set in 2019-20 and 2020-21 and this was the last card I needed to get all the parallels for both years. I now own 24% of his Chicago Bulls jersey numbered cards! If I can find one more Bulls Jersey numbered cards (before more cards are released) it will bring me up to 25%!! This is the last jersey numbered card on the list.

These plates were the only “new” cards released by Panini this year for Harper. While I think NT actually released in late 2023, there is no plate checklist, so until the Cyan plate popped up for sale in April 2024, I did not realize I needed to be searching for these ones. I was able to find 3 of them this year. I am still searching for the yellow plate to get the set (#14 on my Harper Cavs wantlist). I am also looking for both the black 1/1 and snakeskin 1/1 parallels of this card (#3 and #5 on my Harper Cavs Wantlist).

13) 2017-18 National Treasures Colossal Logoman Cyan Printing Plate 1/1
These plates are for the only Bulls Logoman card of Harper, which I do not own. The logoman is #3 on my Harper wantlist and #3 on my Harper Bulls wantlist, only below the 98-99 Gem Master and 97-98 Ultra Masterpiece. I now own 2 plates from this set. I saw the black plate from this set as “sold out” on COMC and the magenta plate as in a guys PC (tcdb user dipaaa), but attempts to reach out to him to work out a deal via message have all been ignored. If anyone knows dipaaa or the owner of the black plate from COMC, please let me know!!

12) 1999-00 Upper Deck Gold #238 1/1 BGS 8.5 (Grade only)
I bought this card back in 2022 and it is one of only 4 playing day 1/1 cards for Harper; the only one of which I own. I sent it for grading this year, and was pretty happy with the 8.5 grade given the age or the card. I also have the base and bronze parallel to /100 in BGS 9.5, making a nice little set. I am still looking for the jersey numbered bronze 4/100 parallel, which is #14 on my Harper Laker’s wantlist. Also looking for the 1998-99 Upper Deck Gold 1/1 which is #5 on my overall Ron Harper Wantlist.

11) 2021-22 Panini Prizm Fast Break Autographs Black #57 1/1 BGS 9.5 (Grade only)
I sent 10 cards to BGS this past January. I got 3 BGS 9.5 and 6 BGS 9.0s. This was my best 9.5 card I got back. I have the 3 card rainbow (Base, Gold, Black). I’m looking for the Gold jersey numbered 9/10 version and will likely try to get the entire rainbow in BGS 9.5 now, since I got the 1/1 version gem minted.

10) 1996 UDA Chicago Bulls First 70 Game Winners Holofoil 1/1000
A Pippen collector from TCDB (hattrickj) reached out to me earlier this year to let me know this card existed. I had already known about a base version /2500 with red foil and a gold foil variant /1000. I'm not sure how many platinum holofoil were made; initially we thought it was a green/red PMG style numbering where the first 70 were platinum and the next 930 were gold, but now we are not sure (as a 23/1000 gold also popped up). Within a few months of adding this card to my wantlist, hattrickj reach out again to let me know there was one up for sale on eBay. Even cooler, it was numbered 1/1000. We have not seen any with a serial number >70/1000. While Harper is only featured on the back, I am a huge bulls fan so have been chasing these cards as well. Very cool to add such a rare card to the PC! If anyone has any more info on this card, please let me know. The gold/base parallels came as a set, so maybe the first 70 base were actually platinum...

9) 2010-11 Panini National Treasures Platinum #183 1/1
Part of ScotCards collection. I’m a completionist player collector, so even though this card does not have a ton of eye appeal, finding a 1/1 card from 14 years ago is a huge win. This helped me complete the 4 cards base rainbow for NT this year (base /99, silver /10, gold /5). I had previously completed the jersey variant rainbow and the jersey/auto variant rainbow. If I can find the 1/1 autograph only version of this card (#9 on Harper Clippers wantlist) which was graded by BGS in 2012, I will have them all! I am also looking for the jersey numbered gold base parallel 4/5 (#17 on Harper Clippers wantlist). I already own the 4/99 and 4/10 copies!

8) 2009-10 Panini Studio Proofs Platinum #117 1/1
Part of ScotCards collection. Another 1/1 from about 15 years ago! This is the 5th Harper 1/1 card that was produced. Plates of these cards were released at some point, but I have never seen any of the 4 Harpers. This is the only plate set I am aware of since Panini started producing cards that I don’t have at least one plate from... although I'm sure there are a few out there that I am oblivious to.

7) 2017-18 Panini Immaculate Collection Standout Memorabilia Platinum 1/1
Another puzzle piece for my Bulls Jersey board! This patch is the tip of the left horn on the big Bulls logo on the back of a warm up jacket; only one new addition to this project in the last year... too many competing priorities! At least it allows Rhigh to snag one for his PC! The same jacket was used for some pretty cool patches in 2017-18 Flawless release. I now have the full 3 card rainbow. This card had plates released in NT, but so far I have only found 2 of them. If anyone knows where I can find the cyan and magenta, LMK!!

6) 2012-13 Panini Intrigue Autograph Jerseys Laundry Tags #12 1/1
Part of ScotCards collection. Harper does not have too many tag cards. Only 8 by my count. Adding this one and completing my rainbow were huge achievements. This was card #5 card on my Harper Clippers wantlist. Replacing this one now at #5 is the 2013-14 Panini Intrigue Autograph Jerseys Laundry Tag, which I have never seen pop up.

5) 1999-00 Fleer Tradition Supreme Court #135SC 17/20
Part of ScotCards collection, sort of. There were 3 cards I “needed” from Scot's collection that we could not reach a price on. This one, the 98-99 Hoops starting 5 parallel, and 2007-08 Chronology auto gold /10. Luckily, the gentleman who ended up buying the Supreme Court card was a friend of a friend. Alreadydead from TCDB helped arrange a 3-way deal. This was one of only 5 pack pulled non 1/1 cards from his playing days that I still needed. Still on that list includes the Hoops Starting 5 (#7 on my Harper Bulls wantlist and #9 on my overall Harper wantlist), 98-99 Thunder super rave (#14 on my overall Harper wantlist), and the 98-99 Thunder rave (#20 on my Bulls Harper wantlist).

Part of the ScotCards collection. After never seeing a copy of this card pop up in 10+ years, I added 2 to the PC this year. The copy I got from ScotCards was the jersey numbered 9/25 version, which compliments my 98-99 Brilliants 24kt gold 9/24, 98-99 PMG 9/50, and 98-99 Skybox Rubies 9/50 just perfectly!!! I would love to round out that list with the 97-98 Autographics century marks 9/100 or 97-98 Ultra Platinum 9/100 cards (#1 and #2 on my Bulls Harper Jersey numbered wantlist). The other super script copy I received was part of a deal with AllreadyDead, as mentioned above. I sent that to BGS to be graded but have not received it back yet.

This set is the only Ron Harper Lakers auto, making this his only 1/1 Laker's auto. I was able to complete the rainbow with this addition. This was a top 20 card on my overall Harper wantlist. Prior to adding this card, there were only 2 Lakers cards I still needed. Now we are down to one: 2000-01 Topps Gold Label Finals Leather Home (yellow jersey). I would really like to find the last one!!

Part of ScotCards collection. These were both top 20 cards on my overall Harper wantlist. I now have the full Prizm rainbow, which is 13 cards (small by recent standards for Prizm!). With my additions this year, I now own over 50% of Harpers 1/1 cards/plates. To my knowledge, ScotCards had the biggest Harper collection outside of my own. By purchasing a large number of his cards, I think it is safe to say I have the largest, most comprehensive Harper collection in the world! Sure I’m missing some monsters, but I have been collecting diligently for over a decade and feel like each year the collection is getting better and better. Hopefully in 2025 I can continue to add to the PC! Thanks for the views and keep me in mind if you ever find some rare Harper cards in the wild!

It kinda changes based on my interests at the time. Some years I chase a lot of patches. Some years I chase jersey numbered cards. I'm a completionist so if I don't have a copy of a card and it is for sale, that is always priority 1! Sometimes I pick up duplicates of short printed or popular cards to either find a better condition copy or have some trade options in case someone who collects Harper has a card I really want. The nice thing about Harper is for the past few years, he does not have a ton of new cards coming out. If he had 200 cards released each year, I'd probably not be able to "keep up" enough for the hobby to remain fun for me. But a busy release year for him is 40-50 cards.

Orangization is a challenge. Still trying to figure that one out. I'd like to upgrade my storage soon, but haven't had enough time to get things quite how I like them yet. I prefer to spend the spare time I have on the hobby hunting cards or doing social media/message board posts. I'm not super social, but I feel like it is important to spread the word about what you collect when you have a very specific collection you are trying to find pieces for.
