Default Hunger Games Archives Trading Cards (Rittenhouse)

Rittenhouse has this set on their release schedule with a TBD for the actual release date. No details there but Steve Charendoff posted the following on the SciFiHobby.com message board:

Too early to announce any signers for Hunger Games. Haven't even started working on it yet, but will keep you posted if we have any big news. Realistically, it may be several months before we have any details.
Putting aside the question of why Rittenhouse announced the set before they started working on it, literally anything Rittenhouse puts out will be far better than the two barebones NECA sets for the first two movies. Those sets had just base cards, no inserts or anything else.

Technically, the NECA set for the first movie had autographs but they were only available at long odds in special packs given out at Walmart at midnight when a special edition of the movie soundtrack was released. There were also 24 additional base cards in the Walmart packs, plus nine more packaged with the soundtrack itself.

If Rittenhouse gets Jennifer Lawrence to sign, the set probably sells itself. If they don't get her, they probably need pretty much everyone else to sign.

The set is pretty much useless without JLAW. I can't imagine Woody or Kravitz sign and Hoffman and Sutherland are obviously deceased. It pretty much leaves us with a possible Elizabeth Banks , Tucci, Hemsworth and a bunch of never really got famous people.

I always wondered where these came from. Thanks for the info.

Jennifer Lawrence will absolutely make or break this set.

Some other good names would be Peter Dinklage, Julianne Moore & Wes Bentley

Jack Quaid would be a nice one for fans of The Boys.

Alan Ritchson from Jack Reacher also played a bit part in one of the movies. His only auto card I'm aware of is from Smallville when he was Aquaman.

Could also have a Natalie Dormer auto which would be nice as she has very few despite the numerous GOT sets Rittenhouse has produced.

Toby Jones would be the one for me - I need him for my Doctor Who alumni collection. Thought he'd have signed a Marvel related card by now but hey.

Correct; that was announced after I made my post three months ago.

How can you guys forget Jeffrey Wright and the drop dead gorgeous NATALIE DORMER. We know she signs alot of Game of Thrones so I'm pretty sure she is a lock for the set.
