For the past 3 Years I would say Judges 162 game HR pace has been pretty consistent!

Yankees fans are crying salty tears because the Chosen Juan did not choose them. Salty tears and sour grapes.

I get it. I thought it would be a great story for him to return to the most storied franchise in baseball for the long run after he proved to be a difference maker for them in the regular season and the playoffs.

But I think he probably made the right call to join the Mets. They have lots of payroll space (i.e., fewer bad contracts) and a willingness to spend, certainly more so than the Yankees. It's been a story all year long about how Hal Steinbrenner wants to reduce the Yankees' payroll.

I think David Stearns is the wild card, though. I think the Mets sold Juan on how effective Stearns was with the Brewers, and how those skills at constructing a winning team on a small market budget might translate to a team that has the richest owner in the sport with a willingness to spend.

Aside from the Dodgers, who are already a super team with an embarrassment of riches, these Mets are probably Juan's best opportunity to see long term competitiveness and playoff success. Folks saying he has no chance of winning the World Series with this team should set down the crack pipe. They will be in contention every year.

Honestly I’m glad they Honor killed it.

From what I see they are changing every product and I have no doubt they would have done something to change it for the worse. Most recently they have decided to ruin the black & white series release. Almost as if to troll us they stepped up the imagery (it’s been great) and then removed the color background variations only to add multiple solid color variations exactly like stadium club.
