You are expecting a lot of brain cells for collectors differentiate between colors and plain silvers.

Partly asking cause I picked up dozens of silvers at a card show last couple days and pretty sure I got an amazing deal. Seeing most players have none or just 1 available on Ebay right now (Haliburton, Iverson, Shaq, Grant Hill for example).
Its gotta be real SP. Surprised not a ton of peeps have brought it up.

I've picked up all the Cavs now and the Garland card only popped up on eBay two days ago and it was the first one. I bought the first few for only a buck a piece and then the last two (Bates and Garland) were super hard to track down.

I try to not speculate too much but I think for players that don't have 12-13 Prizm cards these could be really sneaky long-term value plays (5-10 year time horizon).

I was surprised how much I saw at the Philly Show where I picked them up. A guy who has a card store in Jersey had 1000+ Deca cards (not all silvers) in his $1 box all unsleeved as if he just broke cases or something ... I was a dealer so picked through it before show started. I got 49 for $40 total. Picked out Silvers of Iverson, 2 Shaq, 3 Haliburton, Booker, Jaylen Brown, Isiah Thomas, Barkley Grant Hill, 2 Kareems, etc etc. Just got all-star type guys. I left commons there.

I also like the Prizm Finalists cards which seem much rarer than normal Panini inserts - I got several of Durant, Giannis, and Kawhi Leonard. Example on Ebay right now - there's just 5 Giannis listed, 0 Kawhi listed, & 2 Durant listed. An absurdly low amount to me for a product that recently came out.

I rolled my eyes at this release when it was announced, like I do with most releases these days. But after seeing them on eBay, I took the plunge and bought a few of the players I PC on the cheap. I stand corrected, I’m a fan. Shoutout to all of the degens dumping these on the cheap to recoup losses from their breaks so collectors can scoop them up at a discount. Your service is appreciated.

Silvers hitting at about 2 per box..I'm thinking (as a few others are) that these will see a desirability spike, may take a couple years, but player collectors will definitely want one for the PC.

The original 12-13 Prizm also had about 2 silvers a box. Regular hobby now seems to have about a silver per pack.

No way, go watch some breaks over on Blez, there are maybe 2-3 per box. Seems to be that most packs have either 1 color or an auto and a silver.

Prizm Deca has 2-3 silvers per box. 10 pack boxes, Right?

When I said regular hobby has 1 silver per pack I was talking about regular Prizm. The 12 pack boxes we have had for hobby for about 10 years.

As much as people love 2012 design, sadly this is just a moneygrab by Panini trying to capitalize the wemby hype. I dont see the long term value of this as this is not the original set. Would love to be proven wrong though
