Sorry but buying loose packs of most any hi end product reeks of searching by weighing.

Safe to assume it’s particularly risky to buy the 50/50 sealed packs on the secondary market due to condition, weighing and/or re-sealing (tampering) issues?

The base cards are pretty flimsy, so yeah, I’d be highly reluctant to buy any packs. Somebody could just buy 10 boxes, weigh the packs and only keep the ones with the hit.

Scrolled through the ebay listings again, a lot more up now. HR 41, Card 81 has Ohtani in the Dodgers City Connect uniform. Maybe first appearance on cardboard for that?

Paid $264 with tax, and should clear $75-90 after fees. No complaints tbh

I've weighed both my individual packages with 1 pack each and one weights 2.8 grams more than the other. But I don't know how much merit that holds. lol

I've only seen 1 auto posted publicly so far (#1/10 on-card auto commemorating his 3 HR, 10 RBI game).

I posted a reddit link to a 2/10 a little higher up. There's still a lot of this product to be shipped and opened.

IMHO, Vinny __________________ I admit, I like collectibles for the action. Buying, selling, prospecting, gambling, etc., are parts of the fun. I will say that being older than many here I just can’t justify sticker autos. Give me a nice on-card auto and I feel that little connection to the signer.
