Uh, no. Are we just going to ignore his GB and KC era hands just because he's catching a few balls for a Saints team with no WRs atm?

The game they need to lose is the Xmas day game. If the Chiefs can beat the Texans, then toss the xmas game to the Steelers--hurt Baltimore's division chances--and rest up then. I wouldn't want Mahomes playing the Steelers' D on one ankle. Houston isn't as scary.

Chiefs have not scored 31 points this season. No team has won the SB without scoring 31 points. Yet KC is sitting at 13-1 due to luck? Clutch? Strategy?

Allen is going to be MVP but only 5 QBs have won MVP and a SB in the same year (Mahomes, Warner, Favre, Young, Montana). Can Allen be the 6th?

Bills defense the last two weeks: given up 86 points, 1000+ yards, and 53 first downs. Not the way to win a SB.

So for KC to win.... Mahomes will have to turn it up in the playoffs and get the offense rolling.

For Buffalo to win... Either Allen needs to go up another level (not sure that's possible) to outplay their defense OR their defense needs to significantly improve.

IMO I think it's more likely Mahomes/KC can turn it on in the playoffs again like they did last year. Hard to believe they won't at least go up a level with Mahomes, Kelce, and Reid.

But maybe what we're looking at is a Philly/Baltimore SB since the Lions defense is even worse than Buffalo (and Goff is not Allen) lol.
Bills current 8 Straight 30+ games tied for first ever with Brady Pats (twice) Manning Broncos and 2000 Rams. Their average ppg is also over 30. Chiefs has never scored over 30 this season, I expect the same thing to happen on their next meeting which means Bills scores over 30 or more and chiefs scores less than 30. If you expect offense to turn it around after sample size of 14 games then you're in for a bad time

For whatever it’s worth the Bills we’re up 35-14 with a minute and change left in the 3rd q. After that they switched to a soft zone since time off the clock was more important. If that’s a 14-14 game the Bills D plays much tighter man coverage. (Romo even discussed this during the 3rd and 4th q).

Yeah, that lions game wasnt even close, Bills just let up. They were up 3 scores so defense soften up just just like what Baltimore did early on the season. I still have a lot of faith on Bills defense. Remember, they held opponents to 10 or less 4 times this season. Additionally, Bills didnt play 2 of their safeties in Rasul and Damar Hamlin which obviously play a part in weakening the secondary

That's hilarious. You would think they give final approval. If I was him and a kid gave me that to sign, I would rip it up.

How did those teams do in the playoffs? 8 playoft games combined and only scored 30+ in 1. No Super Bowl wins. Offense doesnt win championships. Look at the Top 20 scoring teams in NFL history - only one of those won the Super Bowl. One.

Fair, and again I'm not saying Bills can keep letting opponent scores 40 and win SB either. Bills are missing two key safeties and Matt Milano, I'm sure it plays a part in weakening the defense. Prior to Rams game I believe they're top 10 on defense PPG or YPA and they're above average on most metrics. I'd argue that's enough when you have Josh Allen at the helm of your offense

I'd much rather be in the Chiefs situation right now than the Lions.

Hopefully Humphries and Hollywood Brown coming back is enough to get the offense going.

You repeated the stats I provided but ignored the overall point. Pretty difficult to do - way to go!

Ouch.

Where does this one rate compared to the Kelce 2013 TC?

Bills also held their opponent to 10 points on 5 out of 14 games, I'd say that's a good defense. Dont let 48-42 games against lions fooled you, it wasnt even close. They were up 35-14 at one point, defense can let up a bit and play a bit loose to burn clock

Yup, it's night and day seeing Allen running to sideline and still throwing dimes 50 yard to Coleman while Mahomes missed open guys on clean pocket. Might be a good time to play the injury card

Yea, I was aware of that, the way you stated it sounded like they had announced he was out and I missed it.

I'm already mentally preparing myself for an injured Mahomes and a somewhat mediocre Chiefs roster to buckle down in the playoffs and play the kind of mistake-free football that inevitably takes advantage of more-talented/more-nervous/less-disciplined teams.

Congrats on Ring #4.

(This message brought to you by a true Mahomes neutral.)

Coaching in the playoffs is underrated. Chiefs have one of the best.
