Remember when the first Prizm set came out and boxes of those were close to touching $1,500 a box? 2021 was a wild time to be alive in the hobby.

Nevermind then lol didn't see it on Beckett, CBC, or posted here so figured it wasn't out. I hate those spreadsheets so I'll wait and see if anything crazy is in there when it's posted elsewhere

What an incredibly crappy checklist. Along with them all being sticker autos. No thanks.

The checklist has a lot of things for my people so I'll probably waste a lot of money on breaks and then try to get what I can on eBay etc.

My son is still going hard on collecting Trick. Got in on a break this morning for $15 for Trick. Pulled an auto numbered to 99 and patch to 99. Said he is done with NT. LOL.

If you want to see a box open up.

I think 3 Count is nicer looking. IM sure theres a few amazing NT cards but idk theres some really bland and ugly ones (Broun Strowman in the video) ugh

Wow, these cards are, uh, butt ugly, to put it mildly. Awful looking sticker autos. And bad boxes from what I've seen so far, even FOTL.

Agreed that 3 count is the nicer product aesthetically, but still has most of the same issues.

These rushed, "last gasp" WWE Panini products should all come attached with red flags dangling from the packaging.

Yea I am not touching any of them with a ten foot pole. It would be one thing if they were cheaper products to flush out the rest of their inventory but they are selling them as 'premium' releases even though the boxes don't deliver a premium product. It will be interesting to see by the summer when Topps returns if these late pushed products will hold any value.

I don't think Panini prices for older cards in general will tank, Prizm for example should hold value, but people can see this for what it is and flooding the market with "premium" cards rarely works out. I am hoping in six months or so I'll be able to get some nice Asuka cards on a discount.

The sealed market will always be a bit schizophrenic with basic supply/demand and novelty often trumping actual quality, so I'm sure these boxes will hold value over time as long as they weren't just massively overproduced beyond reason.

On the other hand, it looks like Panini is still liberally inserting redemptions into these last releases, which would really give me feel-bads if I were to pull one. I mean, we'd all agree they've been halfhearted at best fulfilling these over the years, and it only stands to reason that once they lose the license, the "urgency" to have these satisfied, such as it is, will not be very high.

I went in for a couple of boxes of Select hobby that I'll be opening Christmas day as it's a tradition of late, but that'll be my last taste almost certainly. I've said it before, but I'm firmly on the Chrome wait station at this point...

Stickers on this look like trash.

Also may not be the first time, but similar to Joshi saying they are using stickers on premium products to charge more, I find it a bit slimey they are doing these "non-associated" shirt relics with nice pieces just to increase value....including on a dead guy. I doubt he wore it and it just rubs me the wrong way the same as if a Dusty Rhodes one popped up and it's just a WWE Dusty shirt he never wore.

Is that at least an Ultimate Warrior shirt they cut up?

I know it isn't great that it isn't worn but obviously he's not been around for a while. So maybe some of his fans might like an official shirt relic for him? It does look nice it just isn't worn by him.

It's better than the crappy logo patches Topps used to pump out with a generic Summerslam logo cloth patch or Raw/SD/ECW etc logo cloth patch thing.

Is it better than that, really? At $600-700+ a box? These are literally pieces of scraps of cheap shirts (often bland) not worn by anyone but presented on a card to give the impression it's an authentic relic piece. I agree with the idea that this is a gross concept for a card.

I know the manufactured logo patches never, ever carried value and a lot of people don't care for them, but they never bothered me. They were the kind of card that a kid would pull from a blaster and think was awesome. They were certainly never viewed by Topps as a cornerstone insertion in their high-end products.
