Well - I'm not going to take all the credit, but at least his November has looked better than his (very brief) October.

Definitely looking a lot better for him.

But how long until this team goes full tank? They are not looking like they'll get close to the play in.

Not sure this is gonna be a fun season for Lamelo after game 50

A big part of me wished the Hornets are high on Miller, the Pels become desperate and they send Ingram and two/three unprotected for Melo. It will be risky as hell to have him with Zion, but if it works...

A team of Lamelo and Zion would sell season tickets for a decade.

Would be great fun to watch

Lamelo quietly averaging 30 points a game, even if he is taking a James Harden level of shots

A 44 spot tonight.

Sad seeing his talents wasted on the franchise MJ's placed a perma-curse on. I can't even pronounce their center's name. Sounds like a saudi prince that flies out OF models for cleveland steamers.

I watched the other night, it was a close game, until he decided to take every shot in the third and 4th quarter. for such a good distributer and shitty team going nowhere, there is no point in doing this as a team perspective.

I think he does not belong on a good team. I don't think good teammates would want him. Charlotte is a good fit for him. Hate to see him playing with a proven star for said proven star's sake.

we will see how long brandon miller can put up with him.

That's exactly what I'm thinking. Hornets are going nowhere this season, and next season, and for foreseeable future. Your best bet if you do buy Lamelo cards is if Lamelo gets traded to contenders but again I don't see any contenders looking for ball dominant injury prone PG when most contenders already have ball dominant PG themselves which more often than not is better than Lamelo

IMO Lamelo is fun to watch, I can see why youngsters like him. Not exactly winning basketball but exciting and fun to see him ball the way he does, he does pull off some crazy stuff!

Yea LaMelo plays a fun brand of playground ball. It's the stuff that flippers and hypebeasts love so you can probably make money on his cards in the short term but he's just not a valuable NBA player in the context of playing winning basketball.

Unfortunately he's a turnstyle on defense. Offensively he's kind of brilliant if you remove his hero ball antics. But I think a lot of that is a result of his team environment and lack of organizational structure. It hasn't been a good franchise since forever. Could easily seeing him elevate his game to a more complementary, winning style of play if he finds his way onto a better roster. Similar to Kemba when he got shipped to Boston.

Watched a clip tonight where he iso'd from half court, took 23 (literally) dribbles outside the three point line, and then threw up an off-leg push back fade at the end of the clock.

Pretty much sums him up.

Its crazy how expensive his stuff was in 2020-2022, picked up some of his lower end nice rookies (Prizm greens, Mosaic different colors, Select silvers etc) for almost nothing this spring, but im just happy to own them without any intention of selling, at the prices I got them its a fun hobby experience.

I wouldn't mind seeing him on the Pels.

Shift Dejoontay over to his native position and stack their already tall/long roster.

Ninja, you're my Melo/Zion ally. We'll ride and die until we make it or the whole thing burns down.

so he can chuck 20 3 pointers and be 4/15 inside the arc like he did tonight? I mean Pels roster would do a strike if he did that

Kinda says something about him from a hobby perspective that this thread wasn't bumped in over a year.

Organizations/rosters matter.
