Hey Hairy, dinner last night was chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, gravy and filling balls. A thanksgiving meal with one bird swapped for another.

You're welcome, Use a Martingale and as the leash training goes on there will be less "choking"

Unless you dog is dumber than Colton the training should take 4 days to a week if you put in an hour minimum a day. Get some training treats as well

In the past when a boss said "Jon you got a coupe of minutes?" I would wonder what thin skinned a-hole I offended by saying that my dog could make more informed decisions than they could.

Now it's- - Hey just checking in to see how everything is going with your health.

I used to pull Gavin Lux cards when he was actually collectible fortunately I traded or sold some of them, still have more than I care to. As far as yesterday I got bored and went to GameStop hoping to find some more topps update hangers but they didn’t have any. Did buy one box of 2024 Bowman chrome megabox, got it for 37 dollars after discount and 5 dollar off monthly coupon. Did decent will list good cards if anybody cares to know.

I have lots of his rookies listed on eBay for $1.99 + ship and I can't move them. I ran them as $0.99 auctions and couldn't move them either.

This is a pleasant surprise. I had a job like that at the Nissan plant where it was never a good experience when the boss called you in. One time when the boss came to me saying he needed to see me in his office I replied save me the trip and give me the bad news here. I think it got my message across because until the time I left that job I was hardly called into his office again.

Yes I hate when that happens. If I had unlimited free listings I would list all my cards starting at 99 cents just to see what would sell. Unfortunately I only get 250 free listings per month so I always just use set prices.

Same here, but I've started updating my dated inventory to auctions and just keep track to make sure I don't do it for more then 250 listings/month.

Right now I only have 138 cards listed but I have to see what I want to cancel to actually free up more space instead of just relisting the same cards.

I have always had good relationships with my bosses. And for some reason i THINK people respect honesty when peppered with sarcasm.

I have never been to HR except for when my last company shut down and I have to sign my severance agreement.

Things that I have said/done at work.

I used to have to go to a 90 minute daily production meeting every day. Of the 90 minutes I was needed for MAYBE 90 seconds. The person who ran it was an anal retentive twit.
About 2 weeks into this silliness I would lean my chair back, put my feel on the conference table and shut my eyes as I listened to these people drone on. One the leader said "Someone wake Zinck up" and I told them I was awake. I then proceeded to review all that happened in the previous 30 minutes.
My boss calls me into his office and tells me I need to participate in the meeting more.
I told him I participate in every matter that requires.
So for the next week I continued my ritual every morning and at the end of the week my boss tells me it's stupid I am there and I didn't need to go anymore.

The Precursor to the 90 minute meeting was a daily 30 minute meeting which I also attended. We had this one annoying woman who giggled at everything. She was also the type of person who would go to you boss for something she needed from you. That always rubbed me the wrong way. She lived on Coca Cola, chocolate and cigarettes. Because of the sugar overload on her 5" 105 pound frame she looked like a tweaker.

In the middle of a meeting, she asked me a question and I replied with "Be honest with us. You run a meth lab in your basement, don't you" She giggled and NOTHING HAPPENED to me.

A few weeks later at a buyers meeting they were discussing when parts (capacitors, resistors, TC's and the like) would be delivered as there was a world wide shortage. My boss at the time said 2 weeks. The senior buyer said he would bet $50 it would be a month minimum. Others joined in on the joke. Giggles McGee called the ethics office and they started an investigation into gambling at work, over a joke.

These people STILL cant't believe she never went to HR on me.

what a rough start to my short 12-4 weds shift.....

got here about 1205 (a little early for me), but the boss was working near the desk and wanted to just talk about random stuff, so i could not sit and enjoy my lunch. really did not get to focus on lunch until about 1215. once that was done (about 1230 or so) i turned my computer on, but it needed several updates. my own computer, not work computer. so i have spent the last 20+ minutes working on this stupid machine.
