Hi all,
I understand that a std. Value submission should take 2-3 months for turnaround, my question is does it normally take 2 weeks+ to get from “Order Prep” to Research & ID?

Recently did my first submission as opposed to a 3rd party submitter and thus a lil anxious now that I submitted it all correctly.

I had seven orders shipped to PSA at the same time, six are logged and the seventh initially said delivered on USPS.

Now it says it's being returned to sender. Any guesses to why? Should I assume until otherwise noted that the package (small flat rate box) arrived damaged or something? The PSA barcode was on the outside of the box and I'm 99.9% sure the PSA order forms were inside as well.

Things are crazy slow it seems right now. I’ve had an order in research and I for 4 weeks tomorrow and my other order in grading for 2 weeks tomorrow.

When mine get stuck I usually call all their customer service line they will usually at least be able to give me an update.

So the box did arrive damaged, just received an email with pictures from PSA. It looks like I might have avoided damage to the cards (fingers crossed), as the interior packaging looks ok.

It's on it's way back to me from CA (to TN) now, so hopefully it gets back to me soon and I can confirm that everything is ok.

Anyone know if the tracking updates on a return to sender? Or do I just sit and wait?

Appreciate the reply. I have quite a few Ohtani cards in this order so I hope that’s the case. Did they send you an email about the up charges?

Estimated delivery is 11 Nov. So they were pretty much right on schedule with my sub. Interesting that I didn't get an upcharge email. My card, which got 9/auto 10 (Caitlin Clark /50 gold refractor on-card auto) has sold for $1.3k raw and $1.7k PSA 9 recently, but according to PSA's site, recent sales (that happened 5-6 months ago) were around $700, so under the $1k max DV for my sub.

My sub was mailed to CA and shipped back from CA too.

I hate the turnaround times, especially for vintage, but getting an email stating they received my package within 40 minutes of it being marked delivered by USPS is greatly appreciated.

How long did this process take for them to reach out to let you know? I had a package delivered on 10/31 that still isnt in my account and it has me quite concerned.

I got the email last night (11/6) and the package was "delivered" to them on 11/5.

If it's been since 10/31 and the tracking says delivered I'd definitely get in touch with them, unless the tracking number shows as delivered in PSA's "find my package" locator. If it does, then you're just at the will of PSA

Edit: Just got the package back (that was quick), and there was only a tear in the box, no damage to the bubble mailer inside that contained the cards. No idea what happened as it was the small side of the box that just ripped open, but I'm pretty lucky nothing came out or was damaged. It will all head back to PSA this weekend

Glad you got yours back safely. It was showing up in their package tracker. Never had an order take more than 3 days to show in my account prior to this. I called today and they were going to lookinto it. Just got two emails saying we received 2 of the 6 orders in the package so that’s a good start. Not sure how they bipassed the initial steps of being in my account as they are in research and ID now.
