Tommy Kahnle in October of this year

129 changeups
13 4 seamers
1 slider

That's insane, and absolutely not effective as part of a deep playoff run where hitters have seen you over and over.

But that’s the hill Boone chose to die on. But who are we kidding I don’t think any move he would’ve made would have been fruitful.

The Yankees need to hire a manager and coaches that will drill and enforce the fundamentals of baseball. I saw on Facebook the Dodgers scouting of the Yankees was this.

1) Don't engage in good leads off first making it easier to pivot at second and turn double plays.
2) Don't run the base paths well.
3) Don't effectively play defense and stop balls from missing cut off men and rolling around.

Each one of those was dead on and killed the Yankees in this series. They got away with it in other series because they AL Central Teams they playerd were nowhere near the match the Dodgers were.

Firing Rojas will certainly help a little with the terrible base running calls heading home.

Well, we can also start by putting Jazz, Soto, Judge and Dominguez in their natural positions, get rid of Gleyber and Trevino or else idk how much "drilling" will help. Our freaking ace pitcher didn't cover 1B for an unknown reason.

Cole also opts out but yanks can void that by giving him an extra year.

I liked Rizzo in terms of what he brought to the clubhouse. But he hasnt had a good run with us overall. Just don't know what the solution is there now.

Sources: Yankees ace Gerrit Cole opts out of contract

That extra year could bite them down the road, but no way they let their ace walk.

The Yankees’ Juan Soto pitch is easy — but will they go to an uncomfortable place to keep him?

No surprise that the Yankees had no players receive a Gold Glove.

Not caring what they do on this one either way.

If they decide to go cheap they fall to wildcard status instead of division winners and most likely an early exit in the playoffs.

Yeah, key to remaining competitive and going far in the playoffs for the 10 probably 10 years is re-signing Soto.

You guys know I don’t get into the speculation and contract talks too much so I will probably post a lot less during the offseason. To which I am sure some of you just said good.

If they let Soto get away I might change wildcard team to slightly above .500 team.

Nice the best new Yankee cards I have gotten were a Mantle topps update 2024 black gold and a Judge Topps update 2024 all star card from update. Bought 2 Ginter blasters and the best Yankee card was a Rizzo pinstripe relic.
