This is so sad of an outlook as a hobby.

It’s also true. If Wemby is an all time great, borderline top10 player he will be a disappointment relative to his card prices currently.

His main problem right now is he isn't strong enough to actually drive into the paint, he gets held up very easily

Last night for example in the OKC game he was getting backed up by Alex Caruso a lot

Same thing with Dillon Brooks in the rockets/spurs 2nd game, he was getting absolutely clamped

His height and body type are working against him, but yes, he needs to add as much strength as he can. Once he can hold position and work down low, he’s golden. Nobody is blocking his shot or stopping him. If he can’t do that, teams will be able shut him down unless his jumper is on fire.

Wemby with 25 points and looking like a defensive player of the year candidate again. At least against the sad Jazz.

It was a 5x5 game for Wemby, but still not a great offensive game from him I'd say, if I'm being honest (and yes, I intently watched the whole thing... which was... difficult at times).

Wemby put up 12 threes, many of them poor shot choices, 10 of them in the first half. Clearly someone said something to him at halftime, as he passed up a few open opportunities in the second half.

But what's amazing about him. He can kind of have a crap game in one aspect and still put up a 25pt 5x5. He had some great passes tonight as well, could have easily had 10+ assists.

To go along with the 5x5, he was also +43 on the night.

With that said, the first half was a horror show for the Spurs and exposed their many flaws. They just happened to be playing the worst team in the league tonight, who was also without their best player.

In 15 minutes of basketball with Wemby off the court the Spurs were a minus 25

I think he's earned the right to Kobe it every damned time at this point.

So basically the aim in painting is to do the opposite of what they expect you to do. This WIP is a good example. You draw a human. They expect another human. So you draw a flower. And an old bird. And a cactus. And so on.

Or here, with a finished piece. You draw a jungle. They expect a bird. So you draw a Mayan deity. Now they expect a spaceship. So you draw a bird.
