All I want to do is talk about COMC

First time ever sending graded cards to COMC. Trying to use the standard submission. I separated the 30 raw and the 3 graded in the count, but then it’s telling me to include more items to meet the $10 minimum. Do both the raw and graded cards not count together in the same submission? I appreciate any help on this.

No, you need 10 graded cards.

I usually just send graded in at Select level. Just .50 cents more and processed much faster.

For those who haven't seen my complaining, I'll repost the vitals.

2 items sent to Elite 9/21 ... crickets
3 items sent to Elite 10/5 ... crickets

$1,000~ worth of cards.

I literally could have drove them from NM, watched the last game of the regular season(MLB) in Seattle, drove over to the Warehouse, scanned them myself, stayed in Seattle for 2 weeks...site see I suppose... Drove all the way back to NM and listed them at least a week ago.

On day 34 the card hostages were finally released

Super long story and explanation as short as possible... If you buy anything via COMC's eBay Live auctions and send to Elite, you could be waiting a while. It's supposedly a problem that's been sent to the engineering folks at COMC and supposedly they'll get it fixed, though it was supposedly fixed 4 or 5 months ago. I had an issue then as well, but it was more like a 12-15 day issue, as opposed to this time(over a month).

Shout out to my new account manager Erik and to Brandon who's a Product Manager(He runs the eBay live stuff). They're the ones that ended up finally fixing my issue.

PS. Hopefully I'm not talking out of turn here, but some great news also told to me today. If you go to your "auctions won" tab, you'll now see something next to your username. It says, "Enable AutoPay". I was told that if you click this option/enable it, you will be automatically charged for eBay auctions won using your COMC credit but will no longer be charged a 10% transfer fee. Supposedly some info/more specific info will be coming on Monday about that. If it does run like that...game changer, as that 10% fee really kills my COMC balance on the regular

You don't default to being autopay. You have to click on auctions won and enable autopay to get the credit.

When I won an ebay auction in the past, I had the option to pay with paypal or store credit. Paypal was the winning auction amount and store credit was always more (I assume shipping).

Last night I won two auctions, one was for $81. I can't use paypal anymore and have to use store credit. The $81 auction win is $90 store credit. It's same price or a few cents cheaper to pay tax and shipping and buy right from ebay.

Store credit is more because they treat the transaction as a cash out. The times Ive won auctions they just transfer cards into my account. Im guessing shipping would be extra.

The autopay just completed a 99 cent item for me for 99 cents in store credit. So you do get the discount if you have autopay set up on your COMC account. Let's see if 1 $.99 purchase gets me back the $10 bonus at the end of the month.

I clicked "enable auto pay" and refreshed my screen. I paid the auction price immediately.

That must mean if you haven't enabled autopay, you pay a surcharge. In my case, it would have been $9 on a $81 card. Wild.

I have over 2,000 cards on my watch list. I'm seeing several things on these cards.
1. A few sellers raising their prices. Normal as Black Friday is coming.
2. Some bigger sellers are doing larger discounts then they normally do.
3. A couple of sellers doing discount which I have never seen them do before. At less this year.
4. A few have dropped their prices.

My watch list which is sorted by lowest price first has changed a lot lately. Some for the good and others not so good.

Not sure if it is a just Black Friday thing or if the market is getting soft. Again!!! this is just the cards I want.

Something else I have seen in the last few weeks. A card showing for sale at $1.24 (which is on the lower end of what it is worth) and when I look at it to buy. It shows a higher price that I would have to pay. Not sure if those are ones for sale through the auctions but I have not seen them on the auction list to bid on. Have they sold and waiting for payment and still show their asking price? Same Item number so they are the same card. (should be)

I just wish when you added a card to your watch list, that it somehow alerted you if another seller listed the same card...it seems to be item # specific as opposed to card specific.

I have asked them to use the title not the item # for the watch list for years to have the watch list to be linked to all of the cards not just one seller. They keep saying that they will look into it. (10 years or more).
Also would like to sort in different ways. Like player or Auto or serial numbered. Again we will look into it.

I did add all copies of a certain refractor rookie to my list a couple months ago, waiting for the offseason dip...it was nice to have them all together on that list...but then I looked up the card & a couple new ones had been listed, and of course when I added those to my watch list it was at the top, and the others are mid list...I guess I can unwatch all of them, and re-watch them to get them all grouped up, but that is...super annoying

the black friday sale set up link was showing on the dashboard page for a few minutes, but it led to just the promotions set up page and nothing was there. it is now gone.

Silly question - when does the linked auto pay actually pay for the auction? Normally I win an auction and can pay for it ten seconds later. Been waiting 15 minutes for auto pay to kick in so far.

It seems to be working slowly tonight. I won a couple of auctions more than an hour ago and they haven't posted yet. I'm sure it will sync at some point.

My promotions manager shows a button to set up a Cyber Monday sale, but does not have any other days to set up. It wasn't there last night, but appeared this morning.

Hmmm 8 hours later and still no auctions transferred to my account or paid for. Sent them a message.
