I think you're right. My $80 price could be high.

Yeah the new sets leaking/announced really killed the product when it was already on one-leg lol got minimal promotion outside the original announcement months ago Carlos is with Topps, is already a niche product with a pretty small base, and the people that are that into tennis you being a perfect example are now waiting for the higher-end sets.

Which furthers my belief, as I mentioned before, that Chrome was simply a sticker dump before the 2 higher end on card stuff releases.

I did buy one at 110 and got Boris Becker auto, genie gold auto /50, scrubby guy auto. could maybe return 70-80 at best. I'd say 60 would be good. it's a fun product. everyone is a rookie!

Most recent case auctions outside of the one from shillstein ended at 1030...thats about $80/box for the seller after fees. Patience friends, your desired entry point is in sight.

Good to see. And you're right. I'd say cases in cash right now are worth no more than $950 ($79 per).

Should be in the $60's per box, tops.

If these boxes drop to $70 per, I'll be happy to use my $100 off discount to buy 3 for $110 shipped.

It's really cool to see Topps still pricing them at full retail on their site.

Makes no sense.

Fanatics too. Seems they drop pricing very infrequently on cards.

I'm finding it pretty interesting that a Aryna Sabalenka Hidden Gems is up to $521 with a day left to go on eBay. Three previous sales ranged from $400 to $470. It's not a parallel or numbered- as far as I know they only did parallels and auto variations for the common inserts, not the rare ones.

I know Hidden Gems and the die cut Game Set Match inserts were the rarest insert chase cards, and the Let's Go and Patriotic Pride slightly less so. I have no idea what the print runs would be limited to per card for any of these rare inserts, but I assume it's greater than five.

Sabalenka's Game Set Match is still going for around $200. I got the Sabalenka frozenfractor for $225 a couple weeks ago, which is obviously numbered and limited to 5.

None of these are signed cards.

So what's the deal here? Is Hidden Gems just a popular super rare insert?

Hidden Gems are super tough pulls. I’ve ripped/been in breaks probably over 40 cases now and haven’t seen a single one. That being said, I’ve noticed a lot of these auctions have been shilled

By "interesting" I assume you actually mean annoying it is worth more than your Frozenfractor lol but some possible reasons could be: Hidden Gems weren't even announced and don't have odds, any "easter egg" SSP's like that are actually extremely limited and usually coveted. The last sale I'm seeing for this is Sept 5., she won the US Open and Wuhan Open since then, I'd say that could impact her card prices to rise for the next sale especially when she was struggling before that. Iga Swiatek went from the final boss of the tour to disappearing, probably isn't a huge reason but money could be going back to Aryna. Finally comparing it to a Frozenfractor, that is a new parallel that isn't well established and kind of odd to be honest I personally wouldn't want a card that says -5/0 and have to explain the whole thing but to each their own. In relation to this though you say it's out of 5 which is true but there is also the actual red /5 which 1. I'd guess would sell for more than the Frozenfractor (could be wrong) 2. Some people might prefer and pay more for the SSP insert you don't know print run of then a card that has ten different cards /5 even if they are technically "different"cards. It's jus inflated value that's why I don't like them either, theres an /5 lets make another /5 to increase value! What's next the 1/1 and -1/1 lol

Now it could just be getting shilled that's possible but I do see reasons it could be legit and more expensive than your Frozen.

Hidden Gems has crossover appeal since it was a product-wide chase across many products in 2023 baseball. Other insert sets don't have that appeal (and a few of them look kind of lame).

Managed to ALMOST accomplish my goal with this release.

Have the -
Coco Base Super (PSA 10)
Coco Sapphire Base Padparadscha (being graded)
Coco Sapphire Auto Padparadscha (PSA 8)

Wish I had caught the auto super when PlatinumCardBreaks pulled it. Apparently a neighbor of her parents bought it so I doubt it’ll ever pop back up.

Nevermind, single boxes back up at $89.95, must of ripped some cases open when they realized a sealed case works out cheaper per box than they had singles listed at.
