I don't think the Hornets are trash, at least not fully healthy. They look like a 40 win team with this version of Melo. Still, bad loss for a team that'll need at least 45 wins to make the playoffs in the West.

Either Delon Wright or Kris Dunn - Delon got very few minutes with Trae though.

maybe a little bit but who are you going to hide Trae on in today's NBA? Nearly every guard can shoot and handle the ball.

No matter who you put next to him you're still playing 4v5.

Maybe it doesn't matter as much in the regular season but in the playoffs you're not gonna be able to stop anyone

A 40 win team in the East is a trash team.

Out west they'd drop right out of the 10.

I bone for Lamelo, and it's time for him to put together a great, full season.

I'll take them over the Blazers, Jazz, Clippers and Spurs in the West. So they'll be 10th in the East and 11tn in the West.

Unless you think a third of the league is trash, they just look like your regular mediocre team.

Transitive property doesn't work really like that considering they'd have a harder schedule in the West. Also, I'll take Wemby Spurs over the Hornets all day. Even Kawhi-less Clippers are probably a better team.

Transitive? I think they are better than 9 NBA teams. That's the point, teams like that are rarely trash.
