That was my thinking. When people want to get rid of something then it is either junk or they just don't want to deal with any of it. Both means very low price to buy.

Did you just open a card store last week?

This sounds like literally every day stuff for shops.

From what I hear, it should be very cheap given the volume. Whether it will be worth the trouble is another matter. Fortunately, I have a guy who sells to major repackers that is always looking for commons so I have an outlet for those.

I mean, it could be. But it is worth a look, knowing the price would be low. Plus, I love the thrill of the hunt even more than the actual sale down the road.

I've had my store since April 2021.

I'd like to hear what kinds of gifts the kid gets at the party.

Bummed that everyone is dumping on the OP, so I'll say: OP I'm happy that you're excited about this and I hope you land some great stuff in the deal.

Bottleman jokes were good though ngl

Default Potentially Massive Vintage Gold Mine Lot Find (Real-Life Edition)

Here are some photos of what I dug through today. There are leaks where mold formed and lots of trashed cards. I still was able to make a decent pile that I'll spend the next few weeks going through. Definitely a decent amount of vintage baseball. More to come!

That’s some serious hoarding!

What a mess - good luck and I hope when you say vintage you are referring to pre-1980 and not pre-2000.

I’m not diggin the 1990 donruss boxes and leaf hockey.

Might consider picking up those aluminum cans instead of the cards
