The entire NFC North is above .666, not just over .500. Just sayin it might ding up both Goff and Love's odds, once that slug fest starts up between all 4.

Calling it now

If by some miracle Baker leads his team to victory over the lauded Baltimore Ravens then he has to be in the discussion

Of course if Goff or Love emerge victorious over their division mates later this season that could further strengthen their claim for MVP as those will be more meaningful wins.

Especially because the voting has become more of who finishes the best as opposed to a totality of the season.

How is Mahomes the favorite to win MVP right now? I understand the team is undefeated but he is averaging 231 yards per game and has 6 TD 8 INT in 6 games.

The odds are based on money already wagered (and I assume future wagers are factored in somehow as well) not the actual play of the candidates.

Goff team is way too stacked for him to win MVP, it is what it is. It is also the reason why Purdy can't win it last year

Lam Jack: climbing the ladder.

Baker: falling off the ladder.

Jackson on his way to 3 mvps.

But he’s got to prove himself in the playoffs.

Basically Peyton Manning, but a running back.

And spags knows how to contain those kinds of quarterbacks. If Lamar can figure out how to burn the chiefs on those blitzes, he beats them.

I'd love to see it go to Jared Goff, Pumpkin Darnold, or Bake Show in that order

That is of course if Patty Cake doesn't steal it from everyone

I honestly don't know how he could. His numbers are bad. Unless he absolutely catches fire, but I just don't see it happening.

Whoever think Patty will take it has no idea that he hasnt even hit over 100 qbr more than once and is on pace to 24 Ints and 18 td. 6 games is not a small sample size too, I donr think he will able to repair that stats

He absolutely can

SB MVP #4 would be a fine consolation prize

The crazy thing is that Lamar is arguably having his best season statistically this year (so far). At worst, this year is 2nd behind 2019 for him. Can he keep it up? Stay tuned.

As crazy as it sounds, I think you have to put Goff and Mayfield in the mix for MVP as well. But there's still a lot of ball to be played.

Correct. I know a lot of folks that dont gamble, cant wrap their brain around "odds".

Sportsbooks just want to limit their exposure. If they get too many bets on one player, they will change the odds to entice wagers another way.

100% most of the Patty Cakes money came in earlier in the year.

Just remember at this point last year, people were putting a bow on Tua's MVP trophy. And Lamar only had as many touchdowns to this point last season as he had against the Bucs last night.

Lamar should thank me for not drafting him in fantasy. Every time i do he has an injury riddled year. Every time I don't he wins mvp!

With Godwin out for probably the rest of the year and Evans down, I don't see Mayfield staying in it.

sticking with my "big three" of Allen/Goff/Lamar

Weekly results. Let’s see how the odds change by next weekend.

Stock up- Lamar, Allen, Goff, Love, Burrow, Henry (long shot but let’s keep him in)

Stock down- Stroud, Purdy, Baker

Stock the same- Mahomes

Josh Allen is soo good. No interception. Wow!!

How he do that with zero win against 0.500+ teams this year? He must be elite against teams under 0.500!! MVP!!

Haters gonna hate but it's better than having 8 ints in 6 games

I agree. Keep balling out against teams under 0.500 and he will be fine. But uh oh- seattle Seahawks is 0.500+ team this Sunday.
