I'm a big Stanton guy. It's easy to say now because of recent events but he doesn't get the respect he deserves. (Vogt just learned the hard way).
If he's able to put a ring on that finger this year and get to 500 career HR, we could be looking at a first-ballot HoF. |

Judge. It'll be nice to see a great player lead his team to a WS win.

I like that either Judge or Ohtani is getting one this year.
Although Judge didn't join a super team to get one so I vote Judge. |

So you think Ohtani should have given up hundreds of millions of dollars to join another team like the Blue Jays?

He joined a perennial 100 win team and gave up hundreds of millions for his own ego. He could have signed 46 for 10, but did the stupid deferral game so he could say he got 700m. From a luxury tax standpoint, the dodgers are paying 46m for him so it doesn't save them flexibility. Everyone wants to act like they know he's the greatest person on the planet, but the truth is you like everyone else knows nothing about this guy other than his closest confidant in the US turned out to be history's greatest gambler and Ohtani is srgt schultz when it comes to his bank accounts.

Rings don’t matter if you have never competed for one. Champions want to be champions because they are in that elite group that elevates their team. If you are on a cr@p team, champions will go to a team willing to surround them with pieces for what is the goal, winning a championship.
Stanton took off from a cr@p organization and has put the Yankees on his back nearly every post season series. He isn’t a winner of a MVP who goes MIA in the Post Season. |

Its hard to say deserve...but from a hobby standpoint Ohtani would be best followed by Judge. I would say the Dodgers are most likely to make a few more WS and the Yankees are less likely especially if they don't resign Soto.

I don't know how anyone could say with a straight face that the dodgers would have made it to where they are without Sho - he carried an injury ravaged offense on his back for most of the year.
All great player listed, btw. |

They were a hair behind the Braves for the favorite to win the 2024 WS before signing Ohtani.
