Bringing back Hunt and JuJu may well end up as season-saving moves.

Time zones man, time zones.
Also, I know you're a Josh Allen fan, so why don't you go hang out in the Josh Allen thread instead of being a troll? I'm not going to come in there and start talking crap on Josh Allen (deserved or otherwise).

I dont see any Allen thread, Mahomes and Brady is on its own tier and has a thread deservingly so. You can't have all the flowers and don't accept criticism

Just got back home. A lot of fun after the first Qtr in a half. Some notes:
-The Mahomes to Worthy TD was amazing. I had the perfect view to see Worthy get behind the defense before the ball was even out of his hand. Seemed like it hung up there forever. -Carson Steele, welcome to the bench (and maybe practice squad if Pacheco comes back). Hunt looks like he's still got a step left. -Chris Jones is a monster. -Another 1 score victory... 10 in a row! Never seen anything like it. I'm going to double down on my take that teams are playing right into the Chief's handing by slowing the game down as taking the piss out of the clock.

Excuse me, are the Chiefs playing in this game? No? Then why the #@#@#@#@ are the graphics about them? This main character #@#@#@#@#@#@#@#@ the NFL has with KC is why nobody likes them and Mahomes

The Good: 4-0 in maybe the most important stretch of regular season games this year (Ravens, Bengals, road game vs top divisional opponents Chargers.) The Bad: Injuries. Pacheco, Brown, Rice. The Rice one hurts. Kelce showed today that he's still got something in the tank when he needs it, but I'm not sure you want to wear him out this early.

I really REALLY hope it won't end up being a season ending injury for Rice, that would be horrible.

Sadly I think we're going to see a heavy dose of Kareem Hunt (who played great today) and balls to Noah Gray and Kelce. Ju Ju ain't gonna do much. Sky Moore should have been cut two years ago. Watson is still good for one nice catch a game. Worthy getting better but not gonna carry the weight. It's gonna be ugly boys. Gonna be a grind until at least Hollywood comes back. We need to pick up someone off the scrap heap, but I don't think we will. I don't know how a Hunter Renfrow or a long shot with Michael Thomas isn't worth more than Sky Moore at this point.
Side note: Carson Steele is pretty much done. 2 fumbles in 2 straight weeks, dude blew his chance big time. |

Rice going down sucks but glad to see others stepping up, (Worthy, Hunt, & Gray). Of the guys available I think Renfrow is the best option, he has always been reliable. Claypool is still young but attitude and effort has always been his downfall and like mentioned above the other are shells of their former selves. Will have to look to see who could potentially be on the trade market.

We've seen this movie before. The schemes that Reid and Spags run are plug and play. They aren't going to look like the 2018-2022 Chiefs ever again, but they're still going to be a force. This is how the Pats won 6 SB's, guys. Reid, Mahomes, and Spags are just too good. They'll be in the AFC Championship once again.

You lost me at this point because you got triggered and took it as a negative. The comparison is meant to show some possible statistical similarities now and moving forward....... along with the clutch gene Ben had and his ability to just win games at an amazing clip.
Over his last 21 games Mahomes has been a 33 TD and 19 INT guy....... with the combo of personnel and/or style of plays they are calling; coupled with actually having a incredible defense at this point........ there is no reason expect anything more than a 2:1 ratio the rest of this year in my opinion and it seems even the biggest homers don't disagree. Ben was a 420/210 ish guy for his career........... he made a lot of poor decisions but when the game was on the line and/or you really needed a play he was among the best ever in my opinion. If Mahomes started his career off like Marino with 3 rings then just sustained a solid 30:15 TD to INT ratio over his career kinda like Ben did...... with some terrible decisions here and there...... but always buckled down in the big momet and just keeps winning..... what is wrong with that? GB10 says right above and it's true..... sustained winning comes from solid defensive play and great coaching/player relationships and trust. This iteration of the Chiefs is confident, dependable, and can be trusted to play a certain way. They have for the last 25 games and it's culminated in another SB and a 4-0 start. If your feelings are hurt because Mahomes isn't going to throw 40 TD's a year anymore, or maybe even 30 some years........ need people be reminded when ole' Patty won an MVP and hosted the Patriots for the AFC crown and lost a shootout? Multiple people have referenced the greats having to re-invent themselves multiple times over their career due to personnel on offense, coaching, team structure......... and it seems most Patty fans are in denial about it. I think through last year and this year it's pretty evident that is actively taking place and he's dealing with it well. When a play needs to be made, he is making it. When they needed big plays last post season he made them ALL. I can't fathom why you and other Patty fans are so bitter that he isn't throwing 45 TD's every year AND winning SB's and winning every MVP. I also can't figure out why people are so triggered when any potential comparison other than to god is made with Patty. I never knew winning a ton of regular season games and playing huge in post season moments was a bad thing......... guys like Ben and Aikman did that and neither had the incredible peak Patty did, yet somehow if anything he does may a draw a comp there it's unspeakable..... like I said originally....... this thread is WILD |

I hate to admit it guys, but even as a Chiefs fan, I have to admit that Mahomes is absolutely WASHED.
Arm strength is starting to fall, his vision of the field is lacking as well and making dumb mistakes. I'm a strong buyer of 17' Mahomes at 15% of recent comps. Hit me up. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
