Yeah at this price and not at least 2 autos per box makes this one a rough buy. I know its popular amongst collectors but an easy pass. These should be be $150 at best.

The design carries this product. Singles, auto or not, these cards do better than 90% of other cards just b/c they look awesome.

Also, while autos are more rare than traditional chrome, the checklist is amazing and most of the fluff is cut out.

Totally bad take, this is one of the few products that will definitely be worth buying up as much as you can in this preorder. Easy 400+ in a few weeks after all the early preorder stuff sells out. It is a very attractive/popular product with a very small and good checklist.

I was able to get a case in the cart, which has never happened
But got cold feet and went with a bunch of boxes. Probably open 1 and flip a few to cover cost

Really think it is referring to opening rather than flipping. I am sure the flip will be decent as long as you can afford to sit on boxes for awhile. But to turn a profit on $1600 opening will require some luck and hitting some decent cards.

To each their own my friend. But if I'm spending $350-$400 on a box a cards, no matter how awesome they look, I'd better be getting 2+ autos. Good luck with them. I do like the Cosmic Chrome cards but not at this price.

It doesn’t matter if you like it or not, it’s what the market values the product at.

As are most products these days, it’s more of a flip/breaker product than personal rip product.

I've received messages from 4 unique members on where I sold my TC Cosmic BB boxes. Although I don't mind answering each one, to save some time and effort, I'll just share with everyone here.

I sold (dropshipped) to a group breaker in a FB group.

Whenever I get allocations to boxes I don't want/care for via 582 membership, I check to see if they might be others who are interested in such products (via FB/Discord/eBay/big retailers/group breakers).

I've already covered my 582 membership costs (and then some) with this approach.

There is a lot more to cards than autos, most autos are worthless. And it was a $290 buy in not $350-400, that is what it will be in a few weeks. I think the big retailers are already charging $350 preorder prices.

Just got my 1 box of Sapphire from the Monty pre-order. I’m a ripper. Best card was a Wyatt Langford base auto #/199. 4 parallels in the box, but the bloated checklist means it’s a lot of scrubs- one red #/5 (Nats team card), 1 orange #/25 (Ryan Presley- color match!), and 2 golds #/50 (Austin Barnes and Triston McKenzie). Best base cards were Corbin Carroll, Wilyer Abreu, and Jung Hoo Lee.
