I see a Normal tennis case is dropping under $1300.

Usually you get 1 "A" group auto/case, I know singles are the way to go, but that is pretty tempting for $100 a box. Now a $1000 a case. wow.

So lets assume there are no base blue Sapphire autos for Novak and Alcaraz, simply because no base have surfaced as far as I know. Only numbered of their autos have been posted. Again, correct me if you've seen base autos.

Saying that, that would make print run for each a /25, /10, /5, /1. That's 41 total autos of each in sapphire (again assuming no base).

That's only 82 boxes out of 10,000+ boxes made that will yield the big hit.

I've done three case breaks for Paula Badosa and have yet to hit a numbered card or auto. Is that just terrible luck?

If it's Sapphire no, if regular hobby I'd say it's pretty bad luck.

Just hobby. I know the checklist is 200, but I figured after 36 boxes I might hit something beyond a base refractor. At least her break prices were pretty cheap.

I did 9 cases of Marin Cilic and hit two #ed cards total. Sounds possible to me.

Sending in 8 cards to psa to get graded.

Alot of the inserts and refractors came with defects. In general, hobby parallels are decent quality besides a rogue dimple or faint print lines - sometimes slight whitening of back corners. The sapphire cards have less defects except for some issues on back of cards.

TC Olympic card/wax sales are holding strong (as expected from a once in every 4 years product).

But damn, 2024 TC Tennis is dropping like a rock. Crazy thing is that it's not even done dropping. It hit the concrete floor and continues dropping towards the center of Earth lol.

I can't remember another product (in recent times) that has dropped faster than 2024 TC Tennis. Absolute massacre.

I think we're on the final push from breakers, which is why we're seeing a ton of singles posted for sale. The sapphire is getting ripped in 2-5 case chunks right now.

Honestly it should keep going down. everyone wants to move it and singles are terrible so no one is breaking. i don't hate the long game on this stuff but seemingly everyone wants short, quick flips now (understandably)

Looks like the initial Sapphire pump is over....$15 for a Venus refractor /25, $200 for a Roddick auto /10, even a Novak auto /25 only went for $1850 with a BASE one from regular hobby at $560 auction with two days left.

Even with the good results posted here I'd still probably take a regular hobby case over Sapphire and have the slim possibility at a dual, the extra autos, and the case-hit SSPs

For as much as people dump on the product, Topps made a solid effort. There are ways to improve - most notably initial price point and mixing in on-card autos. Besides that, it's been as fun of a tennis collecting ride as I can remember.

I still havent seen a base sapphire Novak or Carlos auto. Does anyone have a pic of one? I need proof. I really don't believe they exist.
