After being brilliant at maximizing service time, they send down Mayo after 7 days. They should have waited just a tiny bit longer to bring him up.

Palmer just predicted tonight’s game will last 2 hrs 15 mins… I’m actually beginning to love Eflin. Hopefully Palmer didn’t jinx it!

38 games to go! Suarez pitching today, so hopefully we are able to split the series. Adley’s injury is concerning.

Adley didn't seem injured with that HR swing

Right… it was great to see him back! I was worried he’d be out for awhile. Great win today.

Orioles are 20-22 since July 1. Fortunately, the Yankees have also been playing pretty flat since then. Hopefully we can get hot these last several weeks and have that momentum carry over into the playoffs.

2025 might end up being an even tougher season for the Orioles with Bradish starting on the IL (possibly missing entire season) and Burnes/Santander likely signing elsewhere. 2024 might be our best WS chance for awhile.

Another tough one-run loss. The wins aren’t coming as easily this year.

Even if you combined the Yanks and Bal bullpens they'd still suck lol. This is why I think either Hou or Cle wins the AL

This is the first Os game I’ve been able to watch in weeks and these commentators are making it very hard to keep watching….

But seriously, still a lock for the playoffs. But things aren't trending great lately.

1.5 games behind the Yankees...
2 games ahead in the Wild Card Playoffs...

Likewise, I am nervous with the way our Orioles is playing. Pitching is shaky while our offense is streaky... Only 33 games to go...

On the positive note, I am looking forward heading to Los Angeles to attend two games between the Dodgers and the Orioles. Should be a fun trip!

Go O's!

Alittle annoyed that I am not going to tonight's game (Gunnar Henderson's bobblehead night)...

We are not looking like a Team that will have success in the playoffs, much less a World Series appearance. I hope we get are act together really soon. As always, pitching is a big concern ….

It kind of feels like the letdown 2013 season. After winning 101 games last year and starting the season playing so well, it’s discouraging to see injuries decimate our pitching staff.

As others said above, we likely will make playoffs it’s just going to be a feeling of limping into it. However, sometimes teams get hot at the right time and that propels them into the playoffs. Maybe we leave all the bad luck behind and string together some wins in September to make it into the playoffs on a hot streak. One can hope!

I was pretty surprised they didn’t go out and get an impact SP. most large market teams with their position and farm system would have traded for at least one.

I was waiting for that - just didn’t happen. In Elias we trust for now I guess

I would argue Eflin was the steal of the deadline (just ignore our other moves) but another injury killed that.

Here’s a fun one… I picked up a ticket stub card from Tony Tater’s first career tater…

https://www.espn.com/mlb/recap/_/gameId/380408110

“Anthony Santander's first major league homer, a two-run drive, and a two-run shot by Danny Valencia let the Orioles rally from down 5-0.”

And now Kremer looks like he may be done for a bit. Amazing how far this team has come with all these injuries.

Right. In 2023, outside of Bautista going down, the Orioles basically avoided any major injuries. This year is probably the most injury riddled season the Orioles have ever had and we are STILL among the best records in baseball. Imagine where we would be if starting pitching was able to stay healthy all year.

Kimbrel was still a horrible signing though.
