As of right now, the TC on-card rookie auto (base parallels) are the ones to own.

But there could be something better in the future. And you’re right, it’s in Fanatics’ best interest to keep producing and selling Wemby rookie autos (because they’ll make more money from it).

In the short term hype release cycle, you are correct

As far as long term, we know the topps now wemby autos sell for below the bowman 1st

Need to wait and see what the comps are on the TC autos before we know for sure on the long term

The other issue I see is that the better pose is the stickered auto, while the on-card one features too much of an airbrushed look.

The 1972 subset is the clear winner as far as aesthetics go, better pose and hides the airbrushing better while being on-card.

The email says it may take up to two days to process any sales.

Fanatics had them last week and they sold out in 30 minutes I think. Topps hasn’t said anything about them.

Every online breaker is hitting a Wemby auto within 1 to 3 boxes. If you didn't believe the fix was in, it is beyond obvious now.
Before online breaking was big, I would get big hits regularly, now almost never. My story is not unique, 100's of people have the same story.

Just checked my LCS website. Hobby for 559. Blaster boxes 69.

Maybe I'll enter the EQL for Composite and try for a Stroud auto. At least you get 3 autos per box w/ that one.

It's just gotten to the point now where everyone can see it, yet still 95% don't believe it.

This is the first time I’ve seen EQL on Topps US. I have only seen it on Topps UK but never participated.

It seems EQL and Topps are not really integrated much so I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a delay for the successful orders.

It was the same way for me too, I used to get big hits from Blowout/D&A/DC frequently, but now, I have to order like 10 cases of a product, just to get a couple good hits and its only in Topps Flagship products.

I've strike out on all Score, Prizm, Topps Chrome, Bowman, Contenders, National Treasures, Donruss, Optic, everyone else in the past 4-5 years.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars and my best hit was maybe a 2k card.

Looks like 2 more EQL releases coming up on the 30th on Topps.

Appears that this is the way they're releasing the products they deem popular moving forward. Sad times.
