My school teacher. At his age, no parent was helping me with my homework like we do with him. I don't have the time (or knees) to practice with him constantly like he would need.

Could Colton pretend to be him in the tryouts?

Oh, not at all. But putting in the amount of work he does now will ensure he doesn't even sniff the high school baseball team.

First time I stepped on a regulation field, I was 11 in 7th grade trying out for JV. I had played short and pitched my entire life, that change in field size was huge. I could make the throws, but didn't feel like it was my best. Changed to 2nd for the evaluations, got cut. I had no idea what I was doing at 2nd. It doesn't seem like a big change, but it is huge.

At 14 I was clocked at 87 pitching. I didn't play for the school because the new coach that came in kept all his friend's kids that couldn't play. By 17 I was clocked at 95, still wouldn't play for that coach. Got an offer to play D2 school while playing in a summer league, just didn't love baseball enough to commit to playing it in college. Looking back, I should have done it.

Same year FTjr was born! Do you like having a 14 year old vehicle? Or possibly 21?

I was working my last year of the night shift in 2003.

My truck was an infant then.

25 here but who the hell does that to a Miata? I guess he wanted to get out of our scam of emissions testing.

My husband qualifies for a 10k grant but the school advisor has to apply for it. She keeps saying she is too busy. I am irritated. He can't work nearly as much becuase of his internships and the whole purpose of this grant was to help offset that.

My friend cooked me breakfast. Made a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit for me. I'll eat it later.
