Fanatics Fan Fest coming in August

I saw a Reddit post that Cody Rhodes had to leave early to catch a flght so he could wrestle a match, which sounds horribly planned. At the very least the auto and picture lines looked chaotic enough Saturday to dissuade me from even thinking about getting one if they do it next year.

I met Giorgio Chielini at the MVPs booth, not the official FF meet and greet section, and that went great.

Yeah it is ketchup and mustard. There is this one guy or a maybe a few guys in Bills Mafia who before the game just gets sprayed by as many of those as possible head to toe. Just a complete mess. I assume that he has a shower in his RV or whatever he uses for the tailgate because that can't smell good

There was a lady that went on X/Twitter and absolutely blasted Cody Rhodes for "leaving early" and blamed it totally on him.

Come to find out, it was a FF/WWE scheduling issue and not Cody's... The guy literally flew in from one house show to do the FF and then had to leave when he did for another house show...

The guy can only be in so many places at once

Personally, mostly indifferent towards the dude. Just feels fake, but I feel the same way about most cardfluencers so maybe I'm just old and it ain't personal. I sold him a few cards in the past and it was "lets make a deal and then lets do the deal again for the cameras" but I get it, gotta get that content.

His shop is impressive and is backed by some serious ATL money and his staff, more specifically Ryan and Mike are two of the nicest, most genuine people I've interacted with in this industry. And above all else, my 2 kids absolutely love going into CardsHQ, so he's certainly earned my business.

Is is worth a stop before a Braves game or is it primarily overpriced?

I have no interest in high dollar cards btw.

It's worth a stop. You won't find any steals, but most everything in store is priced somewhere between the last 3-4 comps and the lowest available on eBay. Based on your username, there's only 1-2 hockey singles sections in the "main" aisles though.

Orlando yes but I believe Pittsburgh was cancelled. We still have almost 2 months until Orlando in Nov. so plenty of time. I wouldn't expect a 6+ month advance details for any of the regional shows outside of the big Fan Feast events in NY and LA. That's just not how Fanatics does things.

Nothing listed on the Orange County convention center calendar for a card show when I checked for October 2024 - December 2025

Definitely has the feel of more of a card show. The signers/Photo Op guys are more regional guys like Alstott, Brooks, and Boggs instead of your Brady's and Gronk's but Rodman is interesting along with Bench and Griese. I did notice they don't have prices for autograph an photo ops and I'm quite sure they aren't going to be free. I'm also surprised WWE doesn't seem to have anything going at least 1 or 2 random signers

Sounds like it's going to be a blast. Can't wait for the reviews
