I’m not normally a basketball collector, but I’ve been selling off some old nonsports cards on COMC and using the credit to occasionally pick up a card or two outside of my normal interests.

Here are two I picked up this weekend. Not rookies of either player but I still think they are cool…

some good ol vintage going for cheap now on comc, 86' for sure, akeem 8.5 is like 200 bucks right now.

My latest card arrived today. I am very happy to add a nice 1 of 1 card from Upper Deck to my collection. I know, there are parallels 1 of 1 cards out there, but hey, it is still a 1 of 1. To have or not to have, that is the question for a collector like me. Here is my card:

I usually figure someone died or maybe their kid collected cards and left them at home and some other clueless person just sold them assuming they were basically worthless. Always wonder how many 1st edition pokemon cards got tossed in the dumpster back in the day.
