Seriously, how does he totally miss that ball? You’re a major outfielder and don’t give any excuses about the differences between left and right field.

Is Hinch making the return of Meadows another Carpenter shielding-from-the-lefties situation? Or just resting him as a “healthy scratch” last night? We’re 9 games out of the Wild Card, I can’t say W-L matters any more. Meadows is gonna need ABs vs. Lefties to ever be an everyday CF.

Did maybe McCoskey or Petzold comment on this with McKinstry in the outfield last night? What was the point of that? McKinstry won’t be on the 40 Man on October 2 this year.

Do the White Sox have a Lineup of 5 hitters batting under .199 with only 1 batter hitting .250 or better ? Maybe Detroit has such a lackluster lineup that it’s a good thing the Tigers Front Office didn’t waste their time and money on a bat or two when they only need 9 more?

Kerry Carpenter is a welcome sight back. Can kinda see how this offense can be quite good once Greeene comes back and a FA or 2.

Greene, Carpenter, Keith are a solid core. On another note, the Mariners look terrible.

I think Meadows should be ok next season, too.

Analyst’s are going to look at Skubal’s run support hopefully realizing that a bill of those runs came in 2 games. I believe he was helped with another lopsided game but 2 in roughly 24?

They need some right handed bats. Three of their four best guys are lefties (Vierling).

God only knows what their budget is (or what Harris is willing to spend since he seems to want to emulate Tampa) but Teoscar Hernandez, Christian Walker, Willy Adames and even Matt Chapman would fit the team and shouldn't command ungodly contracts.

Yeah, Torkelson was supposed to be their big right handed bat. He is doing better in Toledo, but still striking out too much.

That bust Torkelson has a double and triple in his return.

Still not batting Carpenter against lefties...what is the point of this nonsense?

Meadows out again today too. Coming off injury I can see resting each of them a bit, sure. But they have to eat at the big kid’s table some day too and need those Lefty At Bats.

Go find Lloyd as that’s a Dumb and Dumber quote!

Seriously though, I’m glad to see the younger guys getting AB’s.

A extremely good manager managing a bad team.

Nice comeback. I'm not a defense guy but Colt Keith is horrendous at second.

It was kinda fun to see just how young the whole offense was. Besides Rogers, Vierling is 27, Carp 26 and everyone else is 24 and younger. Really like what we've seen from Meadows since his return from Toledo.

Yeah, if you squint a little bit, you can see a real nice lineup forming. Keeping Skubal is the right move even if all the talk radio wants to trade. They MUST go out this summer and get a big bat for this lineup. More pitching of course as well, but that is like every team.

Some guys that look to might be available - Goldschmidt, Alonso, Hoskins, Torres, Bregman, Chapman. Probably some more with opt-outs. I just want a big name veteran presence to guide this young crew and signal that we are building and playing for the playoffs. Pudge kicked off the last good era.

He's apparently even worse at third. They're going to keep him at second and hope he can improve to average.

Crazy Baez doesn't get pinch hit for the million lefty bats we have in the 9th inning.

I mean it's crazy he plays to begin with, but still.
